圣人既已没，圣道遂不传。异端壅正途，榛塞踰千年。
大儒起相承，辟之斯廓然。濂溪回北流，伊洛开洪源。
学者有适从，披云见青天。我生虽多难，闻道早有缘。
中岁苦病目，不得深穷研。梁君河东秀，意气凌孤骞。
探道得奥阃，辩说如河悬。所知非苟知，而亦允蹈焉。
出入口耳者，彼我奚足言。却来自秦京，过我汾水边。
未几复言别，长途北之燕。行看奋六翮，高举凌云烟。
功成名遂后，归老河之湍。相从讲圣学，与子长周旋。

之谦，字益甫，云中应人。幼知力学，早擢巍科。既而与元好问同掾东曹，机务倥偬，商订文字，未尝少辍。北渡后，居平阳者三十馀年，与诸生讲学，一以伊洛为宗，众翕然从之，文风为之一变。所著古文杂诗仅三百首，曰《兑斋文集》。汲郡王恽序之曰：先生之作，其析理知言，择之精，语之详，浑涵经旨，深尚体之工；刊落陈言，及自得之趣。而又抑扬有法，丰约得所。可谓常而知变，醇而不杂者也。
