公生端平间，厥岁曰丙申。谁云火德衰，魁杓指朱鹑。
郁郁富田乡，紫云气氲氤。日月既合朔，其夕生伟人。
天鸡声一鸣，龙挟云而神。安知阳九厄，遂肇揽揆辰。
朝纲正颓坠，正士多丧沦。真魏两大儒，不使秉国钧。
震电惊明堂，天意为之嗔。空下罪己诏，满目嗟胡尘。
咄咄蒙古师，迫人过女真。是岁楚蜀吴，将帅奔命频。
所幸奇渥温，斥地北海滨。姑缓南牧师，匪曰虏气驯。
小朝誇天堑，文学仍彬彬。公生二十年，宝祐纪丙辰。
一举冠东南，对策登紫宸。忠肝发古谊，识者王应麟。
蹉跎二十年，遂成不朽身。得年四十七，为寿千万春。

丘逢甲(1864年～1912年）近代诗人。字仙根，又字吉甫，号蛰庵、仲阏、华严子，别署海东遗民、南武山人、仓海君。辛亥革命后以仓海为名。祖籍嘉应镇平（今广东蕉岭）。同治三年（1864年）生于台湾彰化，光绪十四年（1887年）中举人，光绪十五年登进士（1889年），授任工部主事。但丘逢甲无意在京做官返回台湾，到台湾台中衡文书院担任主讲，后又于台湾的台南和嘉义教育新学。
