凡百传闻过其实，一朝眼见徒相悬。艺林得名更莫据，柰于姚子独不然。
初闻意气甚兀傲，及见温温探清渊。又闻文笔近靡漫，咏史骨格张老拳。
任昉素门擅夙誉，杜牧风骚比其妍。侧侧鹰隼排长翮，翩翩骅骝缀连钱。
我谓藏器待砻错，如君乃不虚岁年。猛追白日无停驭，壮士力策羲和鞭。
足蹑昆崙碎冰雪，手持芙蓉挥云烟。会当元圃振金石，锦囊采笔人争传。
凫鸥苍茫伫海客，朝窥霞绮暮星躔。明知龙驹绝扳附，且忘老朽相追鶱。

浙江定海人，字心甫，号骇谷，别号白华山人。诸生。书学明人，尤精行草。画山水兰竹有逸趣。中年患目疾，而书画益进。握笔疾扫，全以神行，一日可成数十幅。亦工诗文，居宁波时，与姚燮等唱和。有《白华山人诗钞》、《诗说》。
