《溪居》鉴赏
原文
门径俯清溪，茅檐古木齐。
红尘飘不到，时有水禽啼。
赏析
首句“门径俯清溪”，是写别墅的大环境：门前有路径相通，门外有清流一道。这是极为幽雅的去处。有路，则幽人自往来；有溪，则可以濯吾缨。句中一个“俯’’字，充满动态感，表现出居舍与清溪的距离和高下。
第二句“茅檐古木齐”，是写别墅的小环境；茅屋为舍。古树参天。这是极为简朴高洁的去处。茅屋，则绝无世俗的铜臭；古木，则可渗透人世的沧桑。句中一个“齐”字，极写茅檐处境之高雅幽静。
第三句“红尘飘不到”，实中带虚，既写出了别墅远绝尘嚣的妙境，也隐含着诗人飘然出世的逸情。作者从激烈的政治斗争漩涡中脱身出来，休憩在这绝尘脱俗的所在，感到生理和心理两方面的轻松与解脱。生理上，耳目所及，皆山光水色，涛声松韵；心理上，不必再思考进退得失，也不必再提防暗箭明枪。诗人对这种情况，充满了自慰与自豪。
末句“时有水禽啼”是写实。在这人迹罕至的地方，众生自在，人鸟同乐，不时传来水禽安然的啼声。只写其“啼”，未状其貌，大约是远在门外溪中之故。而“时有”二字。说明啼声不断，此起彼落，使得这幽僻的所在不致凄冷，而是充满生气。
这首诗用欣赏的口吻描绘自己乡间别墅的幽雅环境。诗写得清淡脱俗，格调超逸高古，不事雕琢而神韵自佳。南朝诗人谢灵运的“池塘生春草”历来受到人们的称道，以为天然妙句。裴度“时有水禽啼”之句，似亦尽得其妙。

晋国文忠公裴度（765年－839年4月21日），字中立，汉族，河东闻喜（今山西闻喜东北）人。唐代中期杰出的政治家、文学家。裴度出身河东裴氏的东眷裴氏，为德宗贞元五年（789年）进士。宪宗时累迁司封员外郎、中书舍人、御史中丞，支持宪宗削藩。裴度在文学上主张“不诡其词而词自丽，不异其理而理自新”，反对古文写作上追求奇诡。他对文士多所提掖，时人莫不敬重。晚年留守东都时，与白居易、刘禹锡等借吟诗、饮酒、弹琴、书法以自娱自乐，为洛阳文事活动的中心人物。有文集二卷，《全唐文》及《全唐诗》等录其诗文。
