字卓臣，又字竹丞，家枚弟，艰于小试。光绪己亥，合江李紫璈大令宰江阴县试，正场拔第一。以葬亲，不与覆，李公嘉其孝行，赠诗有“难得锦标终不羡，王褒墓柏有馀哀”之句。是原名家槐，年，始补学官弟子员，已三十许矣，平生濡染家学，能诗文，工书法，与兄家枚同住南菁，一时有双丁二陆之目，年五十馀卒。
