邝元乐，字仲和。南海人。早年从学于湛若水。明世宗嘉靖十年（一五三一）举人。历官江南广德州、广西郁林州、山东宁海州知州。为官洁己爱民，执法不阿，清鲠不屈，治行称最。晚年解组归里，设教羊城，与庞嵩等为讲学之会，继湛若水发明心性之学。复与黎民表等结诗社唱和。有《郁州集》、《五岭文集》。
