（1537—1604）明南通州人，字益卿，号冲庵。嘉靖四十四年进士。历官福建佥事、蓟州兵备副使，万历十三年以右佥都御史巡抚辽东，升右副都御史。十六年迁南京户部右侍郎，丁忧去。二十一年任兵部侍郎，总督蓟辽军务，力主自朝鲜撤兵，主张封关白为日本王。被劾，乞归。卒谥襄敏。有《冲庵抚辽奏议》、《督抚奏议》。
