瓦缸满注春泉碧，谷雨晴时分藕植。地切云霄雨露多，抽叶如盘高数尺。
薰风初试花两三，叶底参差红未酣。盛夏繁开十馀朵，越罗蜀锦光相涵。
碧窗沈沈捲帘幕，红尘不到炎熇薄。逼人幽韵天上来，绝品浓香月中落。
最后一花开更奇，玉碗寒冰净洗脂。世上凡情爱桃李，花中君子谁能知。
商飙且莫吹成菂，留取仙葩伴閒寂。何当唤起濂溪翁，共挹清芬谈太极。

明景泰二年（1451）状元及第，历任翰林院修撰，右春坊、右中允、詹事府少詹事兼翰林学士掌院事。奉命主持两京乡试一科、礼部会试二科，任东宫讲官、侍经筵等职。柯潜作品 所为文章、平妥整洁，诗律清婉。潜著有《竹岩集》一卷，文集一卷，及补遗一卷，均收录于《四库全书》，其诗冲澹清婉，文亦峻整有法。
