吴澄，字幼清，晚字伯清，学者称草庐先生，抚州崇仁（今江西崇仁县）人。平生著作有《吴文正集》100卷、《易纂言》10卷、《礼记纂言》36卷、《易纂言外翼》8卷、《书纂言》4卷、《仪礼逸经传》2卷、《春秋纂言》12卷、《孝经定本》1卷、《道德真经注》4卷等并行于世。吴澄是元代杰出的思想家、教育家，他与当世经学大师许衡齐名，并称为“北许南吴”，以其毕生精力为元朝儒学的传播和发展做出了重要贡献。
