张仲炘（1857-1913），字慕京，号次珊，又号瞻园。湖北江夏（今武汉）人。清光绪三年（1877）进士，散馆授编修。强学会会员。官至江南道监察御史，江苏尊经书院山长。张仲炘与“晚清四大家”朱祖谋、王鹏运、郑文焯等交往甚密。早年在苏州曾参加郑文焯组织的壶园词社，入京后加入咫村词社及校梦龛词社，参与“庚子事变”后京师词人的“春蛰吟”。
