释师观（一一四三～一二一七），号月林，俗姓黄，福州侯官（今福建福州）人。十四岁，入雪峰山投忠道者出家。年二十四，祝发受戒。谒證老衲于澧州光孝寺，扣可庵然、尤溪印于闽中，又从老衲移住饶州荐福寺。宁宗嘉泰元年（一二○一），住平江府蠡口圣因禅院。后历住平江府承天能仁寺、万寿报恩光孝寺、临安府崇孝显亲寺、开山湖州报因佑慈寺、平江府灵岩山崇报寺、临安府西湖澄翠庵、湖州乌回山密严寺。为南岳下十七世，大洪證禅师法嗣。嘉定十年卒，年七十五。有德秀编《月林师观禅师语录》。
