徐楠，字晋臣（《天台续集别编》卷五）。孝宗淳熙九年（一一八二），知仙居县（《嘉定赤城志》卷一一）。十六年，改太常寺主簿（《宋会要辑稿》礼五三之一○）。宁宗庆元元年（一一九五）由广东运判任放罢（同上书职官七三之六四）。五年，又于知复州任放罢（同上书职官七四之七）。开禧元年（一二○五）除监察御史。二年，迁殿中侍御史兼侍讲。
