本明道人（？～一一四○），号明室。自机契天宁克勤禅师，遍参名宿，皆蒙印可。为南岳下十五世，天宁克勤禅师法嗣。高宗绍兴十年卒。《嘉泰普灯录》卷一五、《五灯会元》卷一九有传。今录诗三首。
