译文
暂且借着这杯酒遣散无聊，不要损坏了你的愁眉与细腰。
人世间除了死亡没有比得上离别更痛苦了，春风不因为爱惜柳枝而不让离苦之人去攀着。
笼罩在烟雾中的茂密的柳条，每枝都依依不舍，万千枝条在日暮里拂走斜阳。
为了告诉行人不要为情折尽枝条，柳条送走行人也欢迎来客。
注释
离亭：离别的释亭，即释站，是离别处。赋得折杨柳：赋诗来咏折柳送别。《折杨柳》是曲子名。
送：遣散。无憀（liáo）：即无聊，无所依赖，指愁苦。
愁眉与细腰：柳叶比眉，柳枝的柔软比腰，有双关意。
争拟：怎拟，即不拟，即为了惜别，不想爱惜柳条。
含烟惹雾：笼罩在烟雾中的茂密的柳条。依依：状恋恋不舍。

离亭赋得折杨柳二首鉴赏
这两首诗与杜牧《赠别》主题相同，即和心爱的姑娘分别时的离别之作，但写法各别。离亭指分别时所在之地，亭即驿站。赋得某某，是古人诗题中的习惯用语，即为某物或某事而作诗之意。诗人在即将分别的驿站之中，写诗来咏叹折柳送别这一由来已久但仍然吸引人的风俗，以表达惜别之情。
第一首起句写双方当时的心绪。彼此相爱，却活生生地拆散了，当然感到无聊，但又势在必别，无可奈何，所以只好暂时凭借杯酒，以驱散离愁别绪。次句写行者对居者的安慰：“既然事已至此，不能挽回，那又有什么办法呢？所希望于你的，就是好好保重身体。你本来已是眉愁腰细的了，哪里还再经得起损伤？”这句先作一反跌，使得情绪放松一下，正是为了下半首把它更紧张起来。第三句是一句惊心动魄的话。除了死亡，没有什么比分别更令人痛苦。这句话是判断，是议论，然而又是沉痛的抒情。第四句紧承第三句，针对第二句。既然如此，即使春风有情，不能因为爱惜长长的柳条，而不让那些满怀着“人世死前惟有别”的痛苦的人们去尽量攀折。这一句的“惜”字，与第二句的“损”字互相呼照。因为愁眉细腰，既是正面形容这位姑娘，又与杨柳双关，以柳叶比美女之眉，柳身比美女之腰，乃是古典诗歌中的传统比喻。莫损也有莫折之意在内。
第二首四句一气直下，又与前首写法不同。前半描写杨柳风姿可爱，无论在烟雾之中，还是在夕阳之下，都是千枝万缕，依依有情。而杨柳既如此多情，它就不会只管送走行人，而不管迎来归客。送行诚可悲，而迎归则可喜。因此，就又回到上一首的“莫损愁眉与细腰”那句双关语。就人来说，去了，还是可能回来的，不必过于伤感以至于损了愁眉与细腰；就柳来说，既然管GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人，也就得管迎人，不必将它一齐折掉。折掉一半，GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人离去；留下一半，迎人归来，则为更好。

李商隐，字义山，号玉溪（谿）生、樊南生，唐代著名诗人，祖籍河内（今河南省焦作市）沁阳，出生于郑州荥阳。他擅长诗歌写作，骈文文学价值也很高，是晚唐最出色的诗人之一，和杜牧合称“小李杜”，与温庭筠合称为“温李”，因诗文与同时期的段成式、温庭筠风格相近，且三人都在家族里排行第十六，故并称为“三十六体”。其诗构思新奇，风格秾丽，尤其是一些爱情诗和无题诗写得缠绵悱恻，优美动人，广为传诵。但部分诗歌过于隐晦迷离，难于索解，至有“诗家总爱西昆好，独恨无人作郑笺”之说。因处于牛李党争的夹缝之中，一生很不得志。死后葬于家乡沁阳（今河南焦作市沁阳与博爱县交界之处）。作品收录为《李义山诗集》。
