银山碛口狂风好似利箭，铁门关西明月有如白练。
双双愁泪沾湿战马皮毛，飒飒风沙扑打行人脸面。
男儿三十未能建功立业，怎能终日死守笔墨纸砚！
注释
银山碛（qì）西馆：银山碛又称银山，在今新疆吐鲁番西南，其西有吕光馆。碛，沙地。
银山碛口：地名，在焉耆西三百里。
铁门关：在焉耆以西五十里。练：白色的熟绢。
飒飒（sà）：象声词，风声。胡沙：胡地的风沙。迸（bèng）：扑打。
守笔砚：里指与武功相对的文墨之事。
银山碛西馆创作背景
天宝八载（749），岑参为右威卫录事参军，充安西四镇节度使高仙芝幕府掌书记。这首诗作于即将到达银山碛西馆时。

岑参（约715-770年），唐代边塞诗人，南阳人，太宗时功臣岑文本重孙，后徙居江陵。[1-2] 岑参早岁孤贫，从兄就读，遍览史籍。唐玄宗天宝三载（744年）进士，初为率府兵曹参军。后两次从军边塞，先在安西节度使高仙芝幕府掌书记；天宝末年，封常清为安西北庭节度使时，为其幕府判官。代宗时，曾官嘉州刺史（今四川乐山），世称“岑嘉州”。大历五年（770年）卒于成都。
