译文
秋风正浓，大雁迫不及待，匆促南飞，惟恐落后。而自己有家难回，犹白骑着瘦马，一年又一年，迤逦在古道之上，让西风扑面而来。
离人杳无踪迹，佳人愁思依依，再无心情寻芳弄草，整日待在深闺中，任凭月落乌啼。无聊之极，随手闲拂窗前月光，想起这月光也正落在离人身上。
译文
于中好：词牌名，双调，五十五字，押平声韵。
帖：即贴，靠近，贴近。
次第：依次。
鬓（bìn)：脸旁靠近耳朵的头发。
杳杳（yǎo）：渺无音讯的样子。
依依：恋恋不舍。
扫黛（dài）：扫眉，即画眉。古代女子以黛描画，这里指闺中妻子。

纳兰性德的这首《于中好·雁帖寒云次第飞》具体写于何时，尚待考证，但是从内容来看，应当是词人在出行途中所写的思归之作。

于中好·雁帖寒云次第飞鉴赏
该词转进层深，深婉动人。“雁帖寒云次第飞，向南犹自怨归迟”：深秋季节，北雁南飞，排成行列，总是怨恨归去太迟。而大雁能够自由南飞，出使边塞的人却不能回家。“谁能瘦马关山道，又到西风扑鬓时”：马是瘦马，道路不是坦途，而是关山道，季节是萧瑟的秋天。词人这是在堆积意象，来表达自己的情绪。
在词的上片，前二句云秋深而北雁南飞，犹怨归迟，一层；雁可南归而人却难归，一层；后二句再翻进，人已难归，偏又逢瘦马关山，西风扑鬓，又为一层。词的下片明写愁思，一层；而偏于杳杏依依之日闻乌鸦之啼声，一层；最后抬头同望一轮明月，又将思乡情感推进一步，又一层。
该词手法向称巧妙，层层递进翻转，最后以月牵和，相思深处，婉转动人。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
