译文
您四十多年来以才名为天下所重，作为三朝元老，为朝廷政事作出重大贡献，是国家的栋梁。功成之后激流勇退，辞去荣宠，回到家乡，以笙歌自娱。
看我才能平庸没有什么作用，承蒙皇上隆恩准我辞官归家务农。今天能与老朋友聚会，共饮一杯，实在难得。姑且捧杯痛饮，歌女为我高歌一曲助兴。
注释
渔家傲：词牌名。又名“吴门柳”“忍辱仙人”“荆溪咏”“游仙关”。双调六十二字，前后阕相同，仄韵。赵康靖公：赵槩，字叔平，南京虞城（今河南虞城）人。宋仁宗天圣间进士。官至枢密使、参知政事。以太子少师致仕。卒谥康靖。
四纪：十二年为一纪，四纪为四十八年。
三朝：宋仁宗、宋英宗、宋神宗三朝。构厦：建构大厦，比喻治理国事或建立大业。
定册：亦作“定策”，指大臣拥立天子。宋仁宗无子，以濮安懿王之子为皇子，养于宫中，但无太子名义。仁宗死，宰相韩琦、参知政事欧阳修等全力扶持皇子即为（即宋英宗），稳定了大局。是即为定册之功。此时赵槩同为参政，或亦参与此事。
荣宠：君王的恩宠或荣耀。
笙歌：泛指奏乐唱歌。
薄才：微薄的才能。常用为自谦之辞。
归田垅：谓辞官回乡务农。
觞（shāng）：古代酒器。此指饮酒。
聊对捧：姑且相对捧杯痛饮一番。聊，姑且。
官奴：指官妓。以歌舞侍候官员宴集。送：送酒，劝饮助兴。

此诗当作于宋神宗熙宁五年（1072年）春，当时欧阳修已经致仕归颍州。这是他在招待老朋友赵槩的宴席上所作的词。

渔家傲·与赵康靖公鉴赏
这首《渔家傲·与赵康靖公》是欧阳修设宴酬宾，感慨平生之作。词的上片称颂朋友，他说才高名重，为国家栋梁。这些话，虽稍嫌夸张，但并无阿谀之意（欧、赵二人，均非阿附之辈，又何况此时均已退休，无阿附之必要），而是热情地肯定朋友的一生行事和品德，包含了昔日共事交往所积累起来建立在相知相信的基础上的深厚友谊。
下片述及自己。欧阳修晚年虽然官高位显，但心情并不舒畅，随后又不满王安石变法，曾不待朝廷批复，即擅自止散青苗钱，受到严厉批评，加上身体确实不好，因而求退心切。“顾我薄才无可用”这句多少是有些牢骚的，说明自己力请退休，是实在不愿意勉强为官了。“今日一觞难得共”说明老朋友相聚难得，因此，他感慨万端，要求歌女高歌一曲助兴佐酒，要求老朋友相对捧杯，痛饮一番。这里，让人体会出其中一言难尽的饱经沧桑的喟叹。
此词叙事是直叙，抒情是直抒，质朴无华，在艺术上虽略嫌粗疏，但内容是充实的，胸襟是坦荡的。作品也从一个方面反映了欧阳修晚年生活的情况。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
