译文
春已归去，春衣几时制成？小溪弯弯水缓浪低平，盏盏蕉叶杯儿水面稳稳行。舞雩坛上风轻轻，轻轻拂动轻柔纻罗衣襟；让我们尽情高歌欢舞，歌唱天下升平。
小雨才飘过，何处农家不催耕？喧春的百舌鸟儿已无语，绚丽的桃李也已开过芬芳尽。那催春的布谷鸟啊，也早已飞进深深茂密的桑林。春天啊一片春色，已嘱托根硕叶肥的芜菁。
注释
望江南：词牌名。又名“忆江南”、“梦江南”、“江南好”。《金奁集》入“南吕宫”。单调二十七字，三平韵。宋人多用双调。
春服，春天所穿的衣服。指夹衣。成，穿得住。
蕉叶，蕉叶状如杯，借指酒杯。
舞雩（yú）：鲁国祭天求雨的土坛，在今山东曲阜。此处借指春游的亭台。纻（zhù）罗：指麻织和丝织的服装。
酣（hān）咏：畅快地饮酒吟诗。升平：太平。
百舌：鸟名。到晚春桃李花谢时，便不啼鸣。
柘（zhè）林：灌木林。鹁鸪（bó gū）：鸟名。天将雨，其鸣甚急，故俗称水鹁鸪。
芜菁（wú jīng）：蔬菜名。又名蔓菁，俗称大头菜。

望江南·暮春创作背景
此词作于宋神宗熙宁九年（1076）暮春三月，与《望江南·超然台作》同时而稍后。熙宁七年秋，苏轼由杭州移守密州（今山东诸城）。次年八月，他命人修葺城北旧台，并由其弟苏辙题名“超然”。到了熙宁九年暮春，苏轼登超然台，眺望春色烟雨，有感作《望江南·超然台作》后又写下了此词。

望江南·暮春鉴赏
这首词与名作《望江南·超然台作》不仅词调相同，起句也极为相似，只是以“未”、“已”一字之差显示了创作时间的某种差异性。不过，两篇写景的艺术视角有一个很大的不同，如果把作者比作一位高明的摄影师，那么前篇是登高览景，作者在进行定点拍摄，本篇则写晚春游兴，作者兴之所至，移步换景，因而不断变换拍摄的方位、角度和距离。
上阕以城中曲水、亭台两个景点为中心，展开叙写。起笔点明题意，并借用《论语》中的典故，写出了初试春服的心理，很像是现代影视中的“画外音”。接着用对仗分别写两个景点：在一弯曲水上，波浪微微涌动，流杯在水面上平稳地行进，——这里再现了曲水流觞的动态景物，像是在高处拍摄的鸟瞰式的镜头；在春游的亭台上，春风柔和，将人们轻便的春服轻轻飘起，——这是一个近镜头，同时伴随着人们的触觉感受（“软”）。出现在作者笔下的这两处景物，都扣住暮春的季节特点，并从侧面表现了作者春游的乐趣。“纻罗轻”与前文“春服几时成”暗相呼应，这是作品章法细密之处，也值得注意。歇拍一句是即景兴感，有歌颂升平之意，固然略嫌庸俗与陈腐，但第一，作者自熙宁七年冬移守密州，政绩斐然，社会稳定，因而在作品中感到欣慰，这恐怕是“酣咏乐升平”的实际意义指向；第二，此句重在一个“乐”字，明白地点出了作者此刻的情绪心理。所以还是差强人意的。
下阕空间背景转为郊野，写来另是一番景象。过片两句，写来到郊野后的第一印象：一场小雨过后，处处呈现出催耕的忙碌气象。作者虽未表露身份，却隐隐传达出作为地方长官的他对农事的关心。接着，他还是像摄影师那样把镜头对准了晚春的景物：百舌不再啼鸣，桃花、李花都已凋谢，只是从灌木林深处传来了水鹁鸪的叫声。这里所有的景物也都扣住了晚春的季节特点，并伴之以人的听觉感受。当作者一眼看到大片盛开的芜菁菜花时，情不自禁地感叹道：这时的春色应当是属于芜菁的！韩愈《感春三首》之三云：“黄黄芜菁花，桃李事已退。”刘禹锡《再游玄都观》诗亦云：“百亩庭中半是苔，桃花净尽菜花开。”这篇东坡词歇拍一句可能从中化出，但更是当时情景的实录，是与镜头相配合的最强的“画外音”。纵观作者其人，喜怒哀乐固然时或有之，但总有一分“无往而不乐”的“超然”之趣，密州时期的作者更是如此。因此，“春色属芜菁”实在是作者对晚春风光，以至于对自然界的一个独特的发现，透露出作者游春的满足感和游兴的浓酣。
如果说“百舌无言桃李尽”一句略带伤春的情调，那么至此已一扫而空了的确，接受者可以超越作者的创作意图，进行合理的再创造。不论苏轼有意与否，“春色属芜菁”一句道出了某种自然的哲理。这可以从两个不同的角度去理解：一是贬抑：大好春光已荡然无存，其余皆不足观，“芜菁”本不值一提，“春色属芜菁”是以丑充美，可怜之至，也可恶之至；二是褒扬：春天众香国虽极可观，但“风流总被雨打风吹去”，未能经得住时间的考验，惟有芜菁生命力最强，在晚春时节最富于生机和活力，因而春色最终属于它。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
