译文
下雨了，天色暗了下来，一开始怀疑是夜色降临。雨过后，风儿转了向，忽然向人们报告天已放晴的好消息。天空飘着淡淡的云彩，殷红的夕阳挂在山峰上，显得一片明朗。一丛丛小草、柔软的沙地、溪边的山路，轻捷的马蹄。
早上从酒中醒来，却还感到疲困，还得马不停蹄，而不能歇息下来做个美梦。虽然身在蓝桥，但是哪里找得到梦中情人，只有多情的流水陪伴着人行走。
注释
南歌子：词牌名。唐教坊曲。又名《南柯子》、《凤蝶令》等。有单调、双调两体。双调又有平韵、仄韵两体。宋人多用平韵体，此词用平韵体。
斜照著山：斜照，夕阳，斜阳。著（zhuó）同“着”，附着，紧挨。
卯酒：早晨所饮的酒。
仙材：据刘尚荣校证《傅干注坡词》此词注三云：“西王母日：‘刘彻好道，然形慢神秽，虽语之以至道，殆恐非仙材也。’故郭璞诗日：‘汉武非仙材。”（刘按，事详《汉武内传》，见《文选》卷二十一《游仙》诗并李善注。）
蓝桥何处觅云英：晚唐裴铏《传奇集·裴航》载，唐穆宗长庆年间，落第秀才裴航出游后回京途中，遇到仙女樊夫人，从她的赠诗中模糊地了解到另一仙女云英及“神仙窟”蓝桥。后经蓝桥释附近，巧遇云英，几经周折，终于与云英成婚。其后裴航也得道成仙。

宋仁宗嘉祐八年（1063年）二月，在凤翔通判任的苏轼赴长安，往岐山，过宝鸡，重游终南山，游途中遇到晴雨变化，苏轼由景生情写下该词。

南歌子·寓意鉴赏
这首词写于公元1079年（元丰二年）苏轼任湖州（今属浙江）知州期间。词中描写了酒后赶路的片断小景，清新而富有情趣。此词通过作者于江南水乡行路途中的所见所感，反映了 他在宦海沉浮中的复杂感受，抒发了人生之不得成仙而去的感。
上片首句描写雨后初晴的景象：由于夜来阴雨连绵，时辰到了，不见天明，仍疑是夜；待到一阵春风把阴云吹散，迎来的已是晴朗天气。“淡云斜照著山明”，把清晨阳光透过淡云
斜照远处山色的景象表达得贴切而有神韵。“细草软沙溪路马蹄轻”这一句写得清新轻快，表达出作者春朝雨后乘马行于溪边路上之情味。此句由景及人，勾勒出一幅清丽优美的山水人物图。下片借传奇故事而抒情，寓意深远。“卯酒醒还困”一句，写作者早晨饮酒，仍感困倦，非因路途劳顿，而是夜间寻仙梦境使然。“蓝桥何处觅云英”这一问句，借用唐代裴航遇仙女云英之典故：唐人裴铏所作《传奇》中，有一篇题作《裴航》的小说，故事离奇曲折，略谓：裴航下第归，与一仙女同舟，得其所示诗，有云：“蓝桥便是神仙窟，何必崎岖上玉清。”及至蓝桥驿，下道求浆，得遇云英，云英，女仙之妹也。裴航经历访求玉杵臼、捣药服食诸曲折，终得结褵而升仙。苏轼此词中所谓“仙村”，即指蓝桥而言；所谓“梦不成”者，谓神仙飘渺不可求，故有“何处觅云英”之感叹。最后，作者觉得路边的溪水也还是有情的，这就是“只有多情流水伴人行”。
这首词的结尾一句——“只有多情流水伴人行”，与李煜笔下的“问君能有几多愁？恰似一江春水向东流”有异曲同工之妙。作者在流水这一无情的客体中赋予主体的种种情思，读来意味深长，余韵不尽。欲成仙而不得，从梦境回到现实，空对流水惆怅不已，这正是词人孤寂、落寞、凄婉的心绪之写照。从词的意境中，可以看到佛老“静而达”的因子，而无“超然玄悟”的神秘色彩。虽有梦境与幻觉，但终归现实。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
