译文
秋雨料峭，寒意肃然，北风萧瑟，秋江清爽。
你是孤傲高洁的检察官，身姿潇洒，有仙道之气。
你平生多有使人感激不尽的行为，素有忠义的褒奖。
近来却祸事连连，天怒人怨，以往事业如流水消失。
楚邦曾经有壮士伍子胥，依靠吴王终于报了家仇。
申包胥在秦庭大哭七日七夜，眼睛都哭出鲜血，终于获得秦国的支持，回来救楚。
但是楚王被鞭尸的耻辱发生且达极限，庙堂墓地上也长满了荒草。
这和如今的某些人一样，佞臣贼子陷害忠良。
长安虽然仅一水渺然相隔，却如何能驾车而返呢？
只能日夜听那哀猿啼鸣，夜夜梦里与你相见。

绣衣，御史所服。
江淹《恨赋》：“郁青霞之奇意。”李善注：“青霞奇意，志意高也。”
谢灵运诗：“客心非外奖。”李善注：“奖，劝也。”江淹诗：“得夫非外奖。”张铣注：“得失由心，非外物所能奖劝。”
壮士，谓伍子胥。按《史记》，伍子胥者，楚人也。父曰伍奢，为太子太傅。楚平王信费无极之谗，杀伍奢及其子尚。伍子胥奔吴，阖闾以为行人，与谋国事。九年悉兴师伐楚，乘胜而前，五战遂至郢。时平王已卒，子昭王出奔，伍子胥求昭王不得，乃掘楚平王墓，出其尸，鞭之三百然后已。于是申包胥走秦告急，求救于秦，秦不许。申包胥立于秦廷，昼夜哭，七日七夜不绝其声。秦哀公怜之曰：“楚虽无道，有臣若是，可无存乎？”乃遣车五百乘救楚击吴。
《通鉴地理通释》：鄢，故城在襄州率道县南九里，今襄阳府宜城县。郢城，在荆州江陵县东北六里。林氏曰：江陵，郢也。襄阳，鄢也。
《楚辞》：“夕揽中洲之宿莽。”王逸注：“草冬生不死者，楚人名之曰宿莽。”
蟊贼，皆害苗之虫也。食根曰蟊，食节曰贼。又《诗诂》：蟊贼一虫，以禾将黄而虫害之，故曰蟊贼。取以喻谗恶之人。
谢朓诗：“无由税归鞅。”李周翰注：“税，息也。鞅，驾也。”

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
