四山矗矗野田田，近是人烟远是邨。
鸟外疏钟灵隐寺，花边流水武陵源。
有逢即画原非笔，所见皆诗本不言。
看插秧栽欲忘返，杖藜徙倚至黄昏。

译文
四周群山巍然矗立中间田野一片，近处都是人家远处隐约可见山村。
飞鸟去处时而传来灵隐寺的钟声，野花芬芳流水潺潺犹如武陵桃源。
一路所遇就是画原非笔墨能描摹，野游所见皆是诗本非语言能形容。
为看农夫田间插秧使我流连忘返，拄着藜杖时走时停不觉已到黄昏。
注释
太冲、表之、公实：太冲，表之，其人未详；公实，指郑湛。
野步：野外散步。
矗（chù）矗：高耸貌。
田田：鲜碧貌。
近是人烟远是邨（cūn）：用杜甫《悲青坂》“青是烽烟白是骨”句式。
灵隐寺：佛寺名，在杭州。
武陵源：地名，见陶渊明《桃花源记》，盖假托以为乐土者。
杖藜（lí）：拄着手杖行走。杖，名词动用，藜，植物名，茎可为杖。
徙（xǐ）倚：徘徊。

四月二十三日晚同太冲表之公实野步创作背景
这首诗不知写于何年。但从诗里所反映的生活情趣看，它很可能是洪炎晚年在临安（今浙江杭州）任职期间游赏近郊田园之作。从题目可知，此诗是诗人于初夏的傍晚同朋友们在郊野散步时，骋目所见、所闻和所想。

宋洪州南昌人，字玉父。洪刍弟。哲宗元祐间进士。为谷城令。复知颍州上谯县，有循政。累官著作郎、秘书少监。高宗初召为中书舍人。与兄洪朋、洪刍及弟洪羽俱有才名，号四洪。诗酷似黄庭坚。有《西渡集》。
