译文
鸡鸭成群到了晚上也不关起来，桑麻生长超过了房脊。什么都不在乎，我正羡慕农村生活；什么都不要，吃饱就行。
新生的柳树，旧日的沙洲，去年溪水是打那边流。人们说此地的儿女们，不是嫁给余家，就是娶了周家。
注释
鹧（zhè）鸪（gū）天：词牌名。双调，五十五字，押平声韵。也是曲牌名。南曲仙吕宫、北曲大石调都有。字句格律都与词牌相同。北曲用作小令，或用于套曲。南曲列为“引子”，多用于传奇剧的结尾处。
屋山：即屋脊。
要底都无：别无所求。
打：即从。
聘：即以礼物订婚。

鹧鸪天·戏题村舍创作背景
宋孝宗淳熙五年，词人闲居于上饶，初期游历周边农村，浏览了当地山村的风土人情，于是写下了这首《鹧鸪天》来表达自己对田园生活的欣喜之情。

鹧鸪天·戏题村舍鉴赏
该词所描写的就是带湖附近一个偏远山村的风土人情。这里鸡鸭成群，桑麻茂盛，山民吃饱便罢，别无所求，嫁女娶媳，怡然自乐，宛若世外桃源。此词题为“戏”作，故笔触轻灵，情趣盎然，流露出词人对田园生活的欣喜之情。词中描述鸡鸭成群，桑麻生长的生活，这朴实、安静、平稳的农村生活使词人羡慕。他希望做个农民，过过这种生活，什么都不用想，只要能吃饱，安安静静的生活就算了。“新柳树，旧沙洲”，农村生活没有什么大的冲击和变化，只有这条小河水，去年从那边流，今年从这边流。就是这个地方的儿女，不嫁余家就聘周。这就以典型的细节描写，反映出农村极为朴实的生活情景。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
