莫道弦歌愁远谪，青山明月不曾空。
龙标野宴鉴赏
这首诗表面上表现了诗人的安逸生活，其实内心还是有被贬谪的苦。
“沅溪夏晚足凉风，春酒相携就竹丛”，夏夜凉风，春酒，竹林，这是一个有足够的条件放松自己的肢体、情感和思维的夜晚。“相携”“就”二词就十分明显的表现着这种竹林聚会，纵情畅饮的放松举止，给人一种随夏夜凉风自在飘荡的感觉。——这似乎是魏晋名士的文字。
而作者是王昌龄，一个曾写下“黄沙百战穿金甲，不破楼兰终不还”的这般充满了激昂悲壮的血性文字的边塞诗人；一个曾远赴西鄙，数被贬于荒远，宦游坎坷，而又有着极强的功业追求的盛唐诗人。
王昌龄此时正被贬龙标。“莫道”只是不要说而已，并非没有，“莫道弦歌愁远谪”，其实心中何曾放下？再深味一下开始的“沅溪夏晚足凉风，春酒相携就竹丛”的描绘聚会畅饮的文字，我们就能在那夏夜凉风般自在飘荡中触摸到作者心灵深处的难以释怀的沉重。欢聚、畅饮并不能使远谪的王昌龄获得真正的心理平衡，所以“青山明月不曾空”便自然而出。“青山”“明月”是天地间永恒的美好存在，是作者谴怀寄情的对象，更是诗人精神人格的物化。诗人以青山明月自许,表现了对人生大自在大拥有的追求。

王昌龄 (698— 756），字少伯，河东晋阳（今山西太原）人。盛唐著名边塞诗人，后人誉为“七绝圣手”。早年贫贱，困于农耕，年近不惑，始中进士。初任秘书省校书郎，又中博学宏辞，授汜水尉，因事贬岭南。与李白、高适、王维、王之涣、岑参等交厚。开元末返长安，改授江宁丞。被谤谪龙标尉。安史乱起，为刺史闾丘所杀。其诗以七绝见长，尤以登第之前赴西北边塞所作边塞诗最著，有“诗家夫子王江宁”之誉（亦有“诗家天子王江宁”的说法）。
