译文
偷桃窃药是两件美事，可惜难两全。玉阳碧城十二楼，曾经幽禁过彩蟾。
本来我应跟三位美女，一起欣赏月光团圈。那华阳观玉楼，仍然像透明的水精帘。
注释
宋华阳姊妹：作者在玉阳山学道时暗恋的宋华阳姊妹，均是女道士。
偷桃：道教传说，谣王母种桃，三千年一结子，东方朔曾三次偷食，被谪降人间。窃药：《淮南子·览冥训》载，后羿在西王母处求得不死的灵药，嫦娥偷服后奔入月宫中。
十二城：亦作十二楼、十二层城，道教传为仙人居处，此借指道观。彩蟾：神话传说月中有蟾蜍，因借以指月，此指代宋华阳姊妹。
三英：三朵花，指三位女性，即宋华阳姊妹。
水精帘：质地精细而色泽莹澈的帘子。

月夜重寄宋华阳姊妹创作背景
唐文宗太和八年（834），李商隐到玉阳山去“学仙”，约为四年，这时结识了女道士宋华阳姊妹，也可能因此产生了恋情。诗人早已向宋华阳姊妹发出过自己情爱的信息，但始终未收到宋氏姊妹返回消息，当然诗人仍存有幻想，实现自己的情感愿望，于是在“月夜”重寄自己的相思，因而创作了这首诗。

月夜重寄宋华阳姊妹鉴赏
首两句是诗人心中发出的感喟，一种深情的阻隔，即使近在咫尺，也形同天涯，可望而不可即。先引用两个典故来喻意，一是用嫦娥偷灵药得仙人月，来喻宋氏姊妹已飞升成仙，一是用东方朔三次偷王母蟠桃事来喻诗人自己，作者说：但仙、凡两境界，“事难兼”啊，今夜我只能望着高楼，“彩蟾”被锁在深阁，城关重重，哪能相见呢？这两句中“兼”与“锁”两词写出了人间种种阻隔，心愿与现实总是相违，在情爱生活中同样如此，对诗人而言，人间无形阻难感受更深了。
后两句点出“月夜”，诗人此时此景的想像与感受应是如此的：在这明月皎洁，月光如银，安详宁静的夜晚是多么好的时光啊，如果我们三人相聚于山水亭角之间，开怀言志，情感交触，共赏明月，然而这仅是一种梦幻和想象了，抬头一望，我只能出神地仰视一下你们高楼上悬挂的水精帘了。这时抒情主人公的心情只能是诗人在绝句《嫦娥》诗中写的两句“嫦娥应悔偷灵药，碧海青天夜夜心”了。
此诗后两句在构思上有一个特色，即“应”与“未”对举，“正”与“反”相合，这更加浓了情深意厚，美事难成的寓意。句中“共”与“仍”也是相反相承的，“共”是美好的意愿，而“仍”却蕴藏了生活中多少阻碍与不测。看来李商隐是深于情感的，但是否能冲过对于功名之企求，恐怕也只是“玉楼仍是水精帘”了，做人的难度也就在这里。

李商隐，字义山，号玉溪（谿）生、樊南生，唐代著名诗人，祖籍河内（今河南省焦作市）沁阳，出生于郑州荥阳。他擅长诗歌写作，骈文文学价值也很高，是晚唐最出色的诗人之一，和杜牧合称“小李杜”，与温庭筠合称为“温李”，因诗文与同时期的段成式、温庭筠风格相近，且三人都在家族里排行第十六，故并称为“三十六体”。其诗构思新奇，风格秾丽，尤其是一些爱情诗和无题诗写得缠绵悱恻，优美动人，广为传诵。但部分诗歌过于隐晦迷离，难于索解，至有“诗家总爱西昆好，独恨无人作郑笺”之说。因处于牛李党争的夹缝之中，一生很不得志。死后葬于家乡沁阳（今河南焦作市沁阳与博爱县交界之处）。作品收录为《李义山诗集》。
