译文
晚上恋人相会在花前月下，可很快就结束了，痛恨那些阻止我们的理由。酒醒之后，美梦断了，花儿谢了，月亮也有些黯然失色。
花开不败，月亮也会升起，我们的心思也会永远一样。这个时候，多希望我是杨柳的枝叶，这样就可以一直和春风相伴随了。
注释
诉衷情：唐教坊曲名，后用为词调。又名《一丝风》、《步花间》、《桃花水》、《偶相逢》、《画楼空》、《渔父家风》。分单调、双调两体。单调三十三字，平韵、仄韵混用。双调四十一字，平韵。
苦恨：甚恨，深恨。
何况：用反问的语气表达更进一层的意思。
绊惹：牵缠。
诉衷情·花前月下暂相逢鉴赏
词表现了不甘屈服于邪恶势力的美好爱情，表现出不幸命运中心灵的高贵、圣洁，表现出苦难人生中一对情侣的至爱情深，堪称爱情词中的千古绝唱。
全词从上片的悲怆沉痛转向下片的美好期待。心灵升华，笔力不凡，波澜起伏，感人至深。词中用“花”、“月”的形象贯穿而成，既写了“花前月下”的相恋，也写了“花谢月朦胧”的爱情受阻，还写了“花”不尽，月无穷的美好祝愿。随着花月意象所呈示的象征意义的流转，词人情感精神所经历的曲折变化也凸现出来。
起首一句缅怀昔日两人相恋的幸福情境。花前月下相逢，原是良辰美景中的赏心乐事；但句中插入一“暂”字，便暗透出一丝悲意。次句进一步点出恋人隔绝、欢会难再的现实。“苦恨”二字叠下，足见词人痛苦之深重。接下来“何况酒醒梦断，花谢月朦胧”用比兴的手法，喻说爱情受阻的现实。“酒醒”，有“愁醒”之意。“梦断”，喻往事已成空，而“花谢月朦胧”，则见证昔日美好爱情的春花已经衰谢，明月已经黯淡，竟成为情缘中断的象征。“何况”二字，强调好事难成，不仅写恋人隔绝，而词情因之倍加悲怆沉痛。
过片以千钧之力，从悲怆沉痛中陡然振起，将词情升华到一个美好的境界。“花不尽，月无穷”两句是对偶，用比兴：花不尽，是期愿青春长；月无穷，是期愿永远团圆。紧接着，迸出“两心同”，则是坚信GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人与自己一样对爱情忠贞不渝。由此可见恋人之间的离别，决非出于心甘情愿，实有难以明言的隐痛，则爱情实为横遭外来势力之摧残可知。衰谢了的春花再度烂漫，而且永远盛开；黯淡了的月亮再度光明，而且永远团圆。这是美丽的幻境，也是美好的期愿，这些要升现词人破碎痛苦的心中，需要的正是“两心同”这种极大的力量。如果没有对GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人无比的爱和最大的信任，是决不可能产生这种精神力量的。作者《千秋岁》词云“天不老，情难绝。心似双丝网，中有千千结”，可以注解“两心同”的深刻意蕴。“此时愿作，杨柳千丝，绊惹春风。”词人把甘为挽回春天即挽回爱情而献身的意愿，寄托结笔这优美的比兴之中。
综上，此词通过叙写一段横遭挫折的爱情，表现了词人对于爱情的忠贞不渝，同时也表现出一种美好期望不断升华的向上精神。宋晁补之评张先曰：“子野韵高”，乃深透之语。

张先（990－1078），字子野，乌程（今浙江湖州吴兴）人。北宋时期著名的词人，曾任安陆县的知县，因此人称“张安陆”。天圣八年进士，官至尚书都官郎中。晚年退居湖杭之间。曾与梅尧臣、欧阳修、苏轼等游。善作慢词，与柳永齐名，造语工巧，曾因三处善用“影”字，世称张三影。
