译文
祖国山河美好如金，如今被列强瓜分谁来负责？
我便如杜鹃一样呼唤祖国东山再起，向精卫填海一边的奋斗。
注释
梁任父：即指梁启超，梁启超号任公，父是诗人对梁的尊称，旧时“父”字是加在男子名号后面的美称。同年：旧时科举制度中，同一榜考中的人叫同年。
杜鹃：传说中古代蜀国的国王望帝所化。望帝把帝位传给丛帝，丛帝后来有点腐化堕落，望帝便和民众一起前去劝说丛帝，丛帝以为望帝回来夺取皇位，就紧闭城门，望帝没有办法，但他誓死也要劝丛帝回头，最后化成一只杜鹃进入城里，对着丛帝苦苦哀哀的叫，直到啼出血来死去为止。
侉（kuǎ）离：这里是分割的意思。
精卫：古代神话中的鸟名，古代皇帝炎帝的女儿溺死在东海里，化为精卫鸟，经常衔石投入东海，要想把大海填平。

赠梁任父同年创作背景
诗人面对腐败的大清一而再，再而三的割地赔款，甲午海战输给了东瀛小国，签订了《马关条约》再次割地，心怀悲愤并写下这首诗。

赠梁任父同年鉴赏
“寸寸河山寸寸金”诗人起笔便饱含深情的赞美作国的大好河山，蕴涵着诗人对大好河山的珍爱之情。叠音词“寸寸”深化了诗人对祖国河山的情感。
“侉离分裂力谁任”指当时中国被列强瓜分的现实，面对着山河破碎，风雨飘摇的受灾受难的国家。诗人希望有人来力挽狂澜，来收拾破碎的山河。
“杜鹃再拜忧天泪”据传说望帝始终在叫着这样的话“民为贵，民为贵”。这句是对第二句的深化，这里是诗人自比，表达了深切的忧国之情，表达了诗人愿意为国家像杜鹃一样啼叫哀求，呼唤着国家栋梁之材，共同为国家出力。再拜，古代的一种礼节，先后拜两次，表示隆重，此处体现的是诗人的爱国之心。
“精卫无穷填海心”用精卫填海这个典故作为力量虽然微弱，斗志却极坚强的象征。这句诗歌借精卫填海典故表达了自己，同时也勉励梁氏──要像精卫那样，为挽救国家民族的危亡而鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已坚定决心。

黄遵宪（1848年4月27日～1905年3月28日）晚清诗人，外交家、政治家、教育家。字公度，别号人境庐主人，汉族客家人，广东省梅州人，光绪二年举人，历充师日参赞、旧金山总领事、驻英参赞、新加坡总领事，戊戌变法期间署湖南按察使，助巡抚陈宝箴推行新政。工诗，喜以新事物熔铸入诗，有“诗界革新导师”之称。黄遵宪有《人镜庐诗草》、《日本国志》、《日本杂事诗》。被誉为“近代中国走向世界第一人”。
