偃松千岭上，杂雨二陵间。
低云愁广隰，落日惨重关。
此时飘紫气，应验真人还。
秋风函谷应诏译文及注释
译文
秋风从函谷关吹起，凌冽的寒气惊动了河山。
偃松生长在千山万岭之上，杂雨飘落在南陵北陵之间。
愁云惨淡地压在广阔的低谷，落日斜照着雄关一派黯淡。
此时山间飘起了紫气，应是验证了真人回还。
注释
函谷：关名，古关在今河南灵宝县东北。
劲气：《初学记》中又作“朔气”，凛冽的寒气。
偃（yǎn）松：常绿小乔木，分枝很多，大枝伏在地面上，末端斜面向上，针状叶，雄花黄色，雌花紫色，球果紫褐色，种子略呈卵形。
二陵：在崤山（今河南洛宁县北，西接陕县界，东接渑池县界）有两山，相距三十五里，又称二陵，南陵传为夏桀的祖父夏后皋之墓，北陵为周文王避风雨之处。
隰（xí）：低湿的地方。
紫气：传说老子西游，函谷关令尹喜见有紫气东来，知有圣人将要过关，果然老子骑着青牛来了，尹喜便请他写下了《道德经》。

秋风函谷应诏创作背景
《秋风函谷应诏》作于贞观十八年农历十一月，当时唐太宗亲征高丽，率大军从长安前往洛阳，再到定州，经过函谷关时，徐贤妃应诏作此诗。

秋风函谷应诏鉴赏
徐惠的《秋风函谷应诏》是一首五言律诗。前三联着重描写函谷关的景色：雄关的秋风、山河的朔气，千岭的偃松、古陵的风雨，广隰的低云、重关的落日。诗人意在大肆地渲染着函谷关的萧飒秋景，格调古朴深沉，充满了浓郁的男子气概。中间着力使用“愁”，“惨”二字，渲染了秋天寒冷而肃杀的悲慨格调。末句“此时飘紫气，应验真人还”，把太宗形象渲染的神异而庄严。虽为歌功颂德，但不失为一首不让须眉的豪放之作。
作为一名生活在宫廷中的女性，徐惠的诗作多数与宫闱题材有关，唯独此篇与众不同。此诗省净而气度雍容，起笔高扬，富于气势。正如苏者聪先生评价的那样：“自拔于陈言之外，别出机杼，而为耳目一新之词。虽是应制之作，却写得气势雄浑，意境壮阔……但在泼墨写意中能做到工笔细描。”诗人突破了应制类诗作的固有风格，展现了鲜明的个人艺术特色和个性化感受，实属难得。
从格律方面看，本诗基本符合近体诗的声律要求，反映了初唐诗歌在宫廷诗人手中已经朝格律化发展的程度和事实。初唐贞观时期，主流诗人不断的探索实践，积累诗艺技巧，创作出了很多合律诗歌，推动了诗歌的格律化，这也影响到后宫女性诗歌的创作。喜爱文学，有着很高文学素养的徐惠，初步具有了一定格律化意识毫不令人意外。女诗人的创作尝试在诗歌史上的意义，应同初唐宫廷诗人在促进中国宫廷古代诗歌朝着格律化方向发展的意义一样，值得后人肯定。

徐惠（公元627年―公元650年），湖州长城人（今长兴人)，唐太宗李世民的妃嫔。生于贞观元年（公元627年）。年少时便才华出众。唐太宗听说后，将她纳为才人。后被封为婕妤，接着又升为充容。贞观末年，唐太宗频起征伐、广修宫殿。徐惠上疏极谏，剖析常年征伐、大兴土木之害。唐太宗认可了她的看法并对她厚加赏赐。贞观二十三年（公元649年），唐太宗驾崩，徐惠哀慕成疾，不肯服药，又作七言诗和连珠以示爱慕。永徽元年（公元650年）病逝，年仅二十四，被追封贤妃，陪葬昭陵石室。
