译文
暮春时节花期已快过，五更时分窗外小雨仍是淅淅沥沥。石阶上长满苔藓穿着罗袜就可以踩上去，空气潮湿，衣服也只能放在熏笼上。梦醒无事，只听窗外鸟儿啼鸣，倍感清幽。
轻抚银筝，慢慢练习相思曲。琴声婉转多情，只可惜无知音聆听。心中的这无限愁绪要到哪里去诉说啊！雨中杨柳飘飘荡荡，残花满地，仿似在告诉我们：已至暮春，春将休。
注释
花信：花开的信息，亦指开花时节，泛指女子在20岁左右的青春年华。
五更头：天将明时。
梅润：谓梅雨季节的潮湿空气。
香篝（gōu）：熏笼。
绿窗：绿色纱窗。指女子居室。
银筝：用银装饰的筝或用银字表示音调高低的筝。

薛昂夫(1267—1359) 元代散曲家。回鹘（即今维吾尔族）人。原名薛超吾，以第一字为姓。先世内迁，居怀孟路（治所在今河南沁阳）。祖、父皆封覃国公。汉姓为马，又字九皋，故亦称马昂夫、马九皋。据赵孟頫《薛昂夫诗集序》（《松雪斋文集》），他曾执弟子礼于刘辰翁(1234～1297)门下，约可推知他生年约在元初至元年间。历官江西省令史，佥典瑞院事、太平路总管、衢州路总管等职。薛昂夫善篆书，有诗名，诗集已佚。诗作存于《皇元风雅后集》、《元诗选》等集中。
