译文
倚着柳树信笔题写诗笺，在花前，帽子歪戴，自由自在的嬉游。总比受人驱遣要来得称心如意。受人驱遣的日子，青丝很快消磨成白发。
我常在金銮殿值夜，看皇宫的台阶上生出春草，这其中的辛酸甘苦又能向谁倾诉。真不如在小楼中赏着明月闲度时光，人为什么非要把大好年华浪费在名利场上？
注释
踏莎（suō）行：词牌名。又名《柳长春》《喜朝天》等。双调五十八字，上下片各五句三仄韵。
题笺（jiān）：题诗。笺：供题诗、写信用的佳纸。
侧帽：斜戴着帽子。形容洒脱不羁，风流自赏的装束。
赏心：心意欢乐。驱驰：策马快奔．为供效力。
东风：春风，一年一度，转借为年光。
绿影：指乌亮的头发。
金殿：金饰的殿堂，指帝王的宫殿。
玉阶：玉石砌成或装饰的台阶，亦为台阶的美称，指朝廷。
镇长闲：经常是孤独悠闲，寂寞无聊。镇长：经常、常常．
缁（zī）尘：黑色灰尘。常喻世俗污垢。

踏莎行·倚柳题笺创作背景
康熙十八年（1679年）秋张纯修出令阳江，是词当作于此后，是纳兰写给张纯修的寄赠之作。

踏莎行·倚柳题笺鉴赏
上片总写友人游宦之闲适和自己御前的拘束，对比鲜明。当年的“倚柳题笺，当花侧帽”，虽然远离英雄的梦想，但它毕竟是自由自在、惬意浪漫的生活。如今虽然受到皇帝的器重，在仕途上一帆风顺，但对纳兰而言却成了无尽的苦楚，因此他才会发出“错教双鬓受东风，看吹绿影成丝早”的感慨。纳兰心中后悔选择了这样的生活，让自己早生华发，在碌碌无为中老去。词人身在庙堂之上，欲驰骋心怀而不可得，于是便向友人倾诉心中苦闷。纳兰对友人毫不遮掩自己的心头愁思，视其为人生知己，朋友间的信任与默契见于纸间。这两句寄寓纳兰无限的人生喟叹：对镜自视，看到岁月的痕迹已经留在双鬓，又向乌发蔓延，心问顿时波涛翻滚，难以平息。
下片自然转向对官宦生涯的描摹。“金殿寒鸦，玉阶春草，就中冷暖和谁道”，金碧辉煌的庙堂，阴森一片，充满了尔虞我诈。“金殿”“玉阶”的尊贵与“寒鸦”“春草”的伤感彼此辉映，生发出“就中冷暖和谁道”的感怀。只一“谁”字既写出了纳兰身居庙堂的孤独无依，又传达了对友人的深切思念，高山流水之意尽在其间。在词的结尾，纳兰表明了自己的志向，“小楼明月镇长闲”，不如悠闲地独上小楼赏月，何必要沾染这世俗的尘埃。一句“人生何事缁尘老”，力透纸背，所有愁苦的失意情怀最终凝成一声重如千钧的叹息。
全词表达了纳兰对安闲自适生活的渴望，对人生错位的苦闷和碌碌无为的生活的厌弃，似是牢骚之语，却尽显词人性情，将对友人的思念蕴含其间，可谓情深义重之笔。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
