偶作寄朗之译文及注释
译文
回想为官时的日子，没有比做刺史时更快意舒畅了。
欢乐的接待来访的宾客，妻儿的生活能够得到保障。
自从来到东都以后，生活清闲更胜从前。
做分司时清闲的生活胜过刺史，辞去官职后生活清闲胜过分司。
更不说是在这偏远的家乡，能收到你的书信非常欣喜。
仰慕你的大名就像与你相识已久，一起做乐曲就像是新得的知己。
下雪时就先到朗之家里拜访，不是花开时节不相约。
边畅饮着自己酿造的美酒，边细细品味所作的诗句。
作为邻里已来往无数遍，在那京都城门也已分别五次。
翘首以盼你的来信，书信到时放能舒展眉头。
槐亭院中已满是落叶，竹阁池中的水也结满冰霜。
门庭冷落无处询问讯息，只得放弃追问。
身体病痛增多，容貌与体力也在逐渐衰退。
虽已年老记忆减退，但你我间那些相处场景仍历历在目从未忘却。
注释
历：经过了的。
无如：不如，比不上。
及：达到。
东都：历代王朝在原京师以东的都城。
安闲：安静清闲；安逸舒适。
分司：唐宋制度，中央之官有分在陪都(洛阳)执行任务者，称为“分司”。但除御史之分司有实权外，其他分司多用以优待退闲之官，并无实权。又清制，“盐运使”下设“分司”，属运同、运副或运判管领。
致仕：辞去官职。
何况：用反问的语气表达更进一层的意思。
欣然：喜悦貌。
仰：尊敬仰慕。
斗：中国市制容量单位（十升为一斗，十斗为一石）。
醲：味浓烈的酒。
里巷：街巷。
都门：京都城门。
岐：岐山，在中国陕西省。
雀罗：捕雀的网罗。常用以形容门庭冷落。
鹤氅：泛指一般外套。

白居易（772年－846年），字乐天，号香山居士，又号醉吟先生，祖籍太原，到其曾祖父时迁居下邽，生于河南新郑。是唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，唐代三大诗人之一。白居易与元稹共同倡导新乐府运动，世称“元白”，与刘禹锡并称“刘白”。白居易的诗歌题材广泛，形式多样，语言平易通俗，有“诗魔”和“诗王”之称。官至翰林学士、左赞善大夫。公元846年，白居易在洛阳逝世，葬于香山。有《白氏长庆集》传世，代表诗作有《长恨歌》、《卖炭翁》、《琵琶行》等。
