战争过后那余下火灰犹存，遭兵洗劫只剩几户穷人家。
拂晓之时江面上无人争渡，寒气袭人向沙滩残月西沉。
注释
江行无题：钱珝的《江行无题》共一百首，写了诗人沿江而行时的所见所闻，也写了诗人的感想。这首诗是第四十三首。
余烬：指兵灾之后残存的东西。
江行无题一百首·其四十三创作背景
《江行无题》组诗作品是作者被贬为抚州司马赴任途中所作。晚唐朝庭政治黑暗，社会动乱不宁。当时，杨行密与朱全忠等在长江一带混战，战争给人民带来了无穷的灾难。诗人对混战的军阀十分痛恨，有感而作这组诗。

江行无题一百首·其四十三鉴赏
作者对军阀所进行的战争持否定批判的态度，对遭受战争之苦的人民怀着深厚的同情。这首诗描写了遭战火洗劫后江边江面荒凉破败的景象。
在这首诗描绘的画面中有两组镜头：一是兵火过后只剩下几户人家的穷村；一是拂晓之时，在残月余辉笼罩之下无人争渡的冷清的江面。诗一开始便点出了给人民带来深重灾难的“兵火”。“有余烬“三字，说明这场“兵火”刚刚烧过。这首诗的第二句具体的表现了兵火烧过之后的景象，兵火给人们带来的后果。平时，村落虽然贫穷，但不会只有“数家”。战争夺去了无数人的生命，使无数人流离失所，逃往他乡，“贫村”才剩下了“数家”，是战争造的罪孽。一个“才”字表现了诗人痛恨战争的感情，也表现了战争给人们带来灾难深重的程度。这首诗的第二组镜头境界开阔，但情调凄凉悲苦。平时，一在拂晓之时，江面上是百舸争流，游人争渡的景象，而此时，在兵火过后，江面上没有了“争渡”的情景，只有那兵火无法烧到的“残月”落向那兵火烧不着“寒沙”。这些描写，蕴含羞人民的苦难，深寓着诗人的感情。
这首诗主要的艺术特点就是由两组画面烘托出凄清冷寂的意境。反战的主题，诗人对此争及战争发动者的憎恨和对人民的同情都是从这里表现出来的。由于在诗中诗人以客观抒情诗人的姿态出现，故而使人更加感到诗境、诗情具有冷静的客观真实性，从而加强了诗歌的感染力。这首诗语言通顺流畅，短短四句小诗，描绘出众多的形象，语言的概括力是很强的。
