译文
窗外,天还没亮,夜半寒鸡叫,天也将亮,香印烧了整晚,已成灰烬.起身坐起却没有任何心情,庭外的梧桐树凝结了整晚的雾气,卷起帘子的时候却惊飞了一对喜鹊。
罗衣搭在屏风上，懒得去拈针线,片刻的功夫却已动了情,从画屏上忆遍了江南的路.每晚做梦说梦话可休要乱说,因为早已经知道以前的事根本没有了踪影。
注释
寒鸡：因天寒而提早司晨的鸡。鲍照《舞鹤赋》：“感寒鸡之早晨。“鸡觉得寒冷，不到天明就叫，所谓”夜半寒鸡“。”早晨“，先于晨，亦此意。
香印：把香研成细末，印成回纹的图案，然后点火，亦叫“香篆“。唐宋时用以记时辰。“香印成灰”表明香已燃尽，天将破晓。
浑无绪：全然没有好情绪。
庭际高梧：房屋旁高大的梧桐树。宿雾：夜间下的雾。
“屏上”句：谓心情不好，懒动针钱，罗衣尚未绣完，即搭在屏风上。绣缕，刺绣用的彩线，此用作动词，即拈针刺绣。
一响：片刻、一会儿，通作晌。“一饷“，片刻，亦言”半晌“。关情：感情有所牵系。
或从画屏风景联想。如后来晏几道《蝶恋花》“小屏风上西江路“。
谩语：胡乱的话。谩，欺骗。梦魂谩语，即梦话，却比呓语稍轻。“休“，休要，否定语。

冯延巳 （903--960）又名延嗣，字正中，五代广陵（今江苏省扬州市）人。在南唐做过宰相，生活过得很优裕、舒适。他的词多写闲情逸致辞，文人的气息很浓，对北宋初期的词人有比较大的影响。宋初《钓矶立谈》评其“学问渊博，文章颖发，辩说纵横”，其词集名《阳春集》。
