译文
高峻的峡谷中，烟云缭绕活动。人的眼光随着峡中飞鸟，穿云而去。几座经历风雨的青峰，相对而立，寂然无语。
朝阳照在峰顶上，深谷中苍烟凝结，云雾缭绕。随着太阳升起，幽暗的山谷景色渐渐能看清了，刚才攀登过的路径现在都已经在自己的脚下了。
注释
①点绛唇：点绛唇，词牌名，此调因江淹《咏美人春游》诗中有“白雪凝琼貌，明珠点绛唇”句而取名。四十一字。上阕四句，从第二句起用三仄韵；下阕五句，亦从第二句起用四仄韵。
②高峡：指作者南归时所经的峡山。峡山，在海宁东北。古称夹谷，自唐后更为硖山。有东西二山，相传为秦始皇所凿。飞鸟：指清晨时离巢之鸟。
③数峰：几座青峰。
④沍（hù）：凝结，闭塞。两句的确是雨后朝霁的山景。明人陈鉴《游硖山》诗：天斧何年劈两峰，半空金翠出芙蓉。
⑤平楚：平阔的林野。此指山外的原野。历历：分明清楚。

点绛唇·高峡流云创作背景
此词是1904年春夏，王国维在沪执编《教育世界》杂志期间与友人在雨后踏青登高后所作。

点绛唇·高峡流云鉴赏
这首词是在写在凌晨天还没亮时爬上山顶凭高远望的感受，这首词的境界中都含有对人生之了悟的成分。
王国维特别善于写景，“高峡流云彩，人随飞鸟穿云去”写出了一种类似杜甫“荡胸生曾云彩，决眦八归鸟”的那种攀登到半山高处所特有的景象。山下刚刚下过雨，山顶是晴天，山腰处乱云飞动，正是雨收而云未散的时候。“数峰着雨，相对青无语”，似乎是套用了姜夔《点绛唇》的“数峰清苦，商略黄昏雨”，这里“相对”解释为人与“数峰”的相对要好些。因为对面青山一直就在那里静静地看着人在云雾里攀登，而人却是在穿过半山的云雾之后才注意到这“着雨”的青山。青山虽然不会说话，却在以雨后的美丽令人惊喜。
“岭上金光，岭下苍烟沍”是说：抬头看，朝阳初照的峰顶已然在望；低头看，脚下深谷苍烟凝结，一片昏暗。因为在这里，从“岭下苍烟沍”到“人间曙，疏林平楚，历历来时路”这有一个时间的过程：随着太阳的渐渐升高，黑暗山谷中的景色也渐渐能够看清了，刚才攀登途中所经过的那些高高低低的丛林，如今都已落在自己脚下。“历历”，是看得清清楚楚的样子，同时也是对往事和过去的回忆，用在这里具有一定的哲理的味道。在山下仰望攀登的道路，只能有“危乎高哉”的惊叹而说不上“历历”；只有在经过艰苦的攀登穿越乌云彩见到光明时才能够有这种“历历”的回顾和反省。
