译文
夜间在亭台上踱着步子，不知道为何清明刚过，便已经感觉到了春天逝去的气息。夜里飘来零零落落的几点雨滴，月亮在云朵的环绕下，散发着朦胧的光泽。
桃花、杏花在暗夜的空气中散发着幽香，不知道在园内荡着秋千，轻声说笑的女子是谁？对她千万般思念，在辽阔的天地里，竟无一处可以安排“我”的相思愁绪。
注释
蝶恋花，词牌名，分上下两阕，共六十个字，一般用来填写多愁善感和缠绵悱恻的内容。此词于《唐宋诸贤绝妙词选》、《类编草堂诗余》、《词的》、《古今诗余醉》等本中均有题作“春暮”。
遥夜：长夜。亭皋：水边的平地。《汉书·司马相如传上》：“亭皋千里，靡不被筑。”闲：吴本《二主词》误作“闭”。信：吴讷本、吕远本、侯文灿本《南唐二主词》作“倒”。王仲闻《南唐二主词校订》云：“倒步不可解，必信步之误。”刘继增《南唐二主词笺》云：“旧钞本作信。”
风约住：下了几点雨又停住，就象雨被风管束住似的。
杏：《尊前集》、《唐宋诸贤绝妙词选》、《类编草堂诗余》、《词的》、《古今词统》作“杏”。《欧阳文忠近体乐府》注：“一作杏。”依依：《欧阳文忠公近体乐府》、《醉翁琴趣外篇》、《乐府雅词》、《花庵词选》、《类编草堂诗余》、《唐宋诸贤绝妙词选》、毛订《草堂诗余》、《词的》、《古今词统》均作“依稀”。《欧阳文忠近体乐府》罗泌校语云：“一作无言。”暗度：不知不觉中过去。春暗度：《尊前集》作“风暗度”。《欧阳文忠近体乐府》、《花庵词选》、《醉翁琴趣外篇》、《乐府雅词》、《唐宋诸贤绝妙词选》、《类编草堂诗余》、《词的》、《古今词统》、《古今诗余醉》、《历代诗余》、《全唐诗》作“香暗度”。
谁：《乐府雅词》作“谁”。《欧阳文忠公近体乐府》罗泌校语云：“谁，一作人。”在：《欧阳文忠公近体乐府》、《醉翁琴趣外篇》、《乐府雅词》作“上”。《欧阳文忠公近体乐府》注：“一作在。”
一寸：指心，喻其小。绪：连绵不断的情丝。“千万绪”有千丝万缕的意思。
安排：安置，安放。

蝶恋花·春暮鉴赏
“遥夜”交待时间，夜色未深，但也入夜有一段时间了。词人“信步”上着一个“闲”字，点染出一副随意举步、漫不经心的样子。“才过清明，渐觉伤春暮”是无理之语。按说“清明才过”，春光正好，词人却已经“伤春暮”了，看来“闲信步”当含有排遣内心某种积郁的用意。
上片最后两句是词人耳目所见，刚刚听到几点雨声，却被春风挡住而听不到了。天上的月亮因积有云层而朦胧不明。这两句写景，清新淡雅而又流转自然。
过片谓这时虽说已过了桃杏盛开的花期，但余香依稀可闻。人为淡月、微云、阵阵清风、数点微雨和依稀可闻到的桃杏花香的美景所感染，那“伤春暮”的情怀暂时退却了。此处白描手法运用得当。
下片二、三句词意陡转。词人遐想联翩之际，听到近处有妇女荡秋千的轻声笑语，她们说些什么听不清楚，但不断传来的莺语，对他来说是一番诱惑。
结尾两句，写词人因意中人不身边，以致常常魂牵梦萦。今夜出来漫步，便有可能出于排遣对意中人的相思之苦。举天地之大，竟无一处可以安排作者的愁绪，由此可见其徬徨、感伤与苦闷的程度之深。

李煜，五代十国时南唐国君，961年-975年在位，字重光，初名从嘉，号钟隐、莲峰居士。汉族，彭城（今江苏徐州）人。南唐元宗李璟第六子，于宋建隆二年(961年)继位，史称李后主。开宝八年，宋军破南唐都城，李煜降宋，被俘至汴京，封为右千牛卫上将军、违命侯。后因作感怀故国的名词《虞美人》而被宋太宗毒死。李煜虽不通政治，但其艺术才华却非凡。精书法，善绘画，通音律，诗和文均有一定造诣，尤以词的成就最高。千古杰作《虞美人》、《浪淘沙》、《乌夜啼》等词。在政治上失败的李煜，却在词坛上留下了不朽的篇章，被称为“千古词帝”。
