太常引·客中闻歌译文及注释
译文
正值杏花开放，燕子也飞来飞去的忙碌，这一切都显出春景的美。偏偏就因为春光绚丽，这几日中，风的号子是那么的凄凉，雨打在身上也是那么的冷。
杨柳的枝叶四处飘散，桃树与银杏树上的花苞、叶儿依旧玲珑娇小。我独自一人站在这景中想自己的心事。刚刚等到我停止了心头的思绪，风将叶儿吹起一片，那吹萧的箫声，也随着风晃荡过墙头，飘向远方。

桃根：晋代王献之妾桃叶之妹。

项鸿祚（1798～1835）清代词人。原名继章，后改名廷纪，字莲生。钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。道光十二年（1832）举人，两应进士试不第，穷愁而卒，年仅三十八岁。家世业盐筴，巨富，至君渐落。鸿祚一生，大似纳兰性德。他与龚自珍同时为“西湖双杰”。其词多表现抑郁、感伤之情，著有《忆云词甲乙丙丁稿》4卷，《补遗》1卷，有光绪癸巳钱塘榆园丛刻本。
