南楼风月长依旧。别恨无端有。倩谁横笛倚危阑。今夜落梅声里、怨关山。
虞美人·湿红笺纸回纹字鉴赏
这是一首思妇之词。上片写的是曾给男子寄信诉说思念之情，却始终未见回音。“红笺”、“回纹”虽然都属词藻，具有美化与夸张的作用，但与女主人的心境都是联系密切的。“湿红笺纸”的“湿”表示流泪，而“红”字固然是笺纸的颜色，却又同时暗寓“泪尽继之以血”的极度悲伤的含义。“回纹字”既表示书信是用尽心思拟写而成，同时又暗示表示自己的愁绪是千回百转连绵不断的，且与下文的“柔和”紧密联合。女主人写了信，寄了出去，而回信却一直没来。春天，燕子北归飞去；秋天，鸿雁南飞归来；这些候鸟都是恪守信用准时不误的，而女主人企盼的回信呢？却是“还是碧云千里、锦书迟”。句前加上“去年”，加上“还是”，说明希望落空已不止一次，等待的日子已经相当的长了。下片写思妇的愁闷无聊却又无从排遣。“风月长依旧”，日常生活几年如一，沉沉闷闷，没有波澜，没有变化。“别恨”二字，点出全篇主题。女主人知道自己的愁苦来源于离别之恨，但这别恨为什么又是如此的索系缠绕，纷纭杂乱呢？自己却说不清，道不明，故而说它“无端”。这样写来，虽略嫌含混，而所抒之情却更加深入细致了。书信不来，人更未还，思妇的心情由愁而生怨，也是很自然的，但是，这一种怨情又如何表达呢？说“倩谁”吹笛，是无人吹笛的意思，故而“今夜落梅声里、怨关山”也就只能是自己的心头所想了。

晏几道（1030-1106，一说1038—1110 ，一说1038-1112），男，汉族，字叔原，号小山，著名词人，抚州临川文港沙河（今属江西省南昌市进贤县）人。晏殊第七子。历任颍昌府许田镇监、乾宁军通判、开封府判官等。性孤傲，晚年家境中落。词风哀感缠绵、清壮顿挫。一般讲到北宋词人时，称晏殊为大晏，称晏几道为小晏。《雪浪斋日记》云：“晏叔原工小词，不愧六朝宫掖体。”如《鹧鸪天》中的“舞低杨柳楼心月，歌尽桃花扇底风”等等词句，备受人们的赞赏。
