闻道商山余四老，橘中自酿秋醅。试呼名品细推排。重重香腑脏，偏殢圣贤杯。
临江仙·和叶仲洽赋羊桃鉴赏
这是一首咏物词，是吟咏羊桃的。羊桃又名五棱子，为福建特产，和龙眼、橄榄、菩提果等齐名，七八月熟，味酸而有韵。此词便围绕羊桃这些特点展开描叙。词的上片写羊桃的产地及其特点。开头二句写产地。但作者没直说，而是采用追忆的方式，言其在三山(今福州)芳树下，饮美酒品羊桃，其风味之美一直让他难以忘怀。这两句词既写出了羊桃风韵之美，又巧妙地点出它是福建特产，为后边的叙写创造了良好条件。“黄金”三句写羊桃的特点与身价。言羊桃花其色金黄瓣五出；其味微酸，如成熟的卢橘，味道绝美；其身价之名贵，和荔枝不相上下。可见羊桃色、味俱佳，为水果之珍品，异常名贵。下片写其他果品。故“闻道”二句另辟新意，言其听人说过橘中可容四老，在其果中酿造秋酒。用传说的故事，写橘汁味美如酒。“试呼”三句写橘之外的名贵果品。言把名贵果品都取来，仔细加以考校、品评，每种果品的“腑脏”里都香香甜甜，为何偏要为酒所缠绕？“圣贤杯”三字和“忆醉”二字相照应，说明无须醉酒自娱，品味羊桃之类的名贵果品，也照样令人陶醉，用委婉方式再次叙写羊桃韵味之美，圆满地结住了全词。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
