田家老翁住东陂，说道平生隐在兹。
鬓白未曾记日月，山青每到识春时。
门前种柳深成巷，野谷流泉添入池。

岩际窟中藏鼹鼠，潭边竹里隐鸬鹚。
村墟日落行人少，醉后无心怯路歧。

译文
田家老翁住在东面山坡，说自己一辈子隐居在这里。
两鬓斑白不曾记得岁月时日。只是看到满山绿遍才知春天又至。
门前所种柳树已高同深巷，山间清泉流响进入池塘。
老牛膘肥体壮一天能耕十亩地，老翁清闲时常扫一扫院子。
有客远来就用美酒招待，兴致浓厚常常吟诵先人的诗。
山岩洞穴里藏着鼹鼠，水边竹林里潜伏着鸬鹚。
村子旧址上人烟稀少，喝醉后根本顾不上辩认道路。
今夜应该在这里歇息，明天一早就与老翁告辞。
注释
陂（bēi）：山坡。
兹：此地。
识春时：知道春天的到来。
茅茨（cí）：茅屋。茨，用芦苇或茅草建成的屋。
平吟：平和自然地吟诵。
鼹（yǎn）鼠：田鼠。
鸬鹚（lú cí）：水禽。鱼鹰，俗称水老鸦。
怯路歧：担心路有岔道。
拂曙：拂晓，天将明时。

寄宿田家创作背景
唐肃宗上元元年（公元760年），高适在蜀地担任彭州刺史，后又改任蜀州刺史，时年五十七岁。由于忙于政务，高适在蜀中创作的诗并不多，这首便是当年他在某位田家老翁家里留宿时所作。
