译文
天子游猎经过上林苑，士卒负羽箭走向荒田。
三窟之狡兔奔跑快捷，骏马追赶岂用得上鞭。
网开一面更衬出百步神技，一箭射中双兔连。
清晨兔影映在含霜草上，魂魄消于如月弓弦。
欢呼声惊动寒天树木，洋洋喜气溢满了晴天。
哪像陈王那样子，只能把射猎场面寄于诗篇。
注释
宸（chén）游：帝王之巡游，此指天子游猎。
羽猎：帝王出猎，士卒负羽箭随从，故称“羽猎”。
狡：狡猾。窟：洞窟，这里指窝。
纤（xiān）骊（lí）：古骏马名。讵（jù）：岂，怎。
三驱：古王者田猎之制。谓田猎时须让开一面，三面驱赶，以示好生之德。
含霜草：意指清早草上的霜还未融化。
向月弦：拉开后形状如满月的弓弦。
寒木：泛指寒天的树木。
陈王：指三国魏曹植。曹植生前曾为陈王，去世后谥号“思”，因此又称陈思王。
乐府篇：指曹植的《名都篇》。

此诗《文苑英华》卷一八〇编入“省试”类，当为作者参加科举考试时所作的试律诗，但其具体创作年份难以考证。

苏颋（670年－727年），字廷硕，京兆武功（今陕西武功）人，唐代政治家、文学家，左仆射苏瑰之子。苏颋进士出身，历任乌程尉、左司御率府胄曹参军、监察御史、给事中、中书舍人、太常少卿、工部侍郎、中书侍郎，袭爵许国公，后与宋璟一同拜相，担任同平章事。苏颋是初盛唐之交时著名文士，与燕国公张说齐名，并称“燕许大手笔”。他任相四年，以礼部尚书罢相，后出任益州长史。727年（开元十五年），苏颋病逝，追赠尚书右丞相，赐谥文宪。
