送胡邦衡之新州贬所·其一创作背景
《送胡邦衡之贬所》作于高宗绍兴十二年（1142）。胡邦衡反对秦桧的妥协投降政策，上书高宗请斩秦桧，秦桧大怒将胡邦衡贬往新州（在南海边）欲置之于死地。据岳珂《程史》载“胡忠简铨既以乞斩秦桧掇新州之祸，直声震天壤，一时士大夫畏罪箝舌，莫敢与立谈，独王卢溪庭玮诗而送之”。

送胡邦衡之新州贬所·其一鉴赏
这首句指胡邦衡所上“封事”，“九重关”，君门九重，极言深不易达。第二句借天上的虎豹言“封事”上达帝前之不易。“清都”，这里以清都比朝廷，虎豹指奸臣和爪牙。第二句是补充第一句之意，因当天守关虎豹被关，所以“封事”能直达殿上。三四句写朝廷上的震动。“百辟动容”指大臣们看到奏牍时受惊之情。四句写奏牍的威力，不知有多少人感到素餐尸位的可耻。胡邦衡当时不过是枢密院编修官，能够挺身直言，朝堂上的衮衮诸公自愧不如，这句写得含蓄。以上四句喷薄而出，写朝廷一面。第五句转到胡邦衡仗义敢言的精神，可与日月争辉。普通夸赞名望高为泰山北斗，这里更说胡邦衡的声名高在北斗众星之上。六句一落千丈，名高北斗，却被贬到南海瘴疠之乡。“堕”字用得有力，和上句北斗星辰紧连，这样的人竞落到这等地步，充满了赞仰、同情和不平之意。一句天上，一句地下，大起大落。末二句又复振起，以贾生比胡邦衡，认为公道是非总不可泯，胡邦衡必然会很快召回朝廷。贾谊为了汉室的久安，上疏直言，受到大臣嫉恨，被贬为长沙王太傅，后来又为汉文帝召回。这两句用此典故，但加上“不待”“行”等字，既有对胡邦衡的祝福，对当时朝廷“公议”不出的批评，也含有对奸臣当道不会长久的信念。八句诗既是一气呵成，又极抑扬顿挫之致，大长正气。

王庭珪（1079～1171）字民瞻，自号泸溪老人、泸溪真逸，吉州安福（今属江西）人。性伉厉，为诗雄浑。乾道八年（1172）病逝，终年92岁，去世后葬于安福县山庄乡下沙村长甫村后山腰，胡铨撰写墓志铭碑。王庭珪是两宋之交的重要诗人。他个性刚直，辞官归隐，曾因诗送胡铨而被贬辰州。靖康之变而后他表现出对国家忧患和民生疾苦的极大关注，有着强烈的爱国情感，诗文词创作都取得了较高成就。
