译文
伴随着登登的脚步声走山路经常走到尽头，一路上到处都可以听到山涧泉水的流淌声。
风吹得树叶飒飒作响，狗被惊得汪汪乱叫；隔着秋天的薄云，能看到山中客店用松枝点燃的火堆。
注释
登登：上山的脚步声。行时尽：走完了上山的小路。
决决：山泉水流声。
松火：即松明之火，古代人们劈松木代替蜡烛照明。隔秋云：与秋云相隔。
山店创作背景
这首诗一说为王建所作，但是大多数选本都将它收在卢纶名下，学术界较支持此说。这首诗可能是卢纶晚年行山有感之作。此时，他的诗极受德宗重视，官至检校户部郎中，在官场平步青云，心情畅快，时常登山望水，因而有此作。

山店鉴赏
诗题名曰《山店》，实际上那行人尚未见到“山店”的屋宇茅舍，更没有下榻在“山店”，“山店”与行人之间还有一段距离。尽管这样，它在行人的心中已经点燃了希望之光，激起了难以抑制的向往之情。
走在平原上，视野开阔，目力所及，远近距离心中亦大致有数。如若有翻山越岭的经历，就知道那情景、那感受完全不一样。走近山脚，迎面是山，再往前走，前后左右皆是山，看上去似乎很近，可是走起来，山回路转，崎岖曲折，绕了半天，还在那座山里，再回头一看，似乎也并没走多远，这样反复几次，人也累了，心也急了，于是乎心中不由地冒一个问题：何处是尽头，何时到尽头？诗的第一句：“登登山路何时尽？”便非常简洁地写出了这种心境。登登，这种声音有种艰难疲惫、单调沉闷之感，而这正是旅人此时的感觉和心情。诗的第二句承第一句而来，“决决”二字摹声又兼写形，表现了诗人选词造句的精巧。由于山峦叠嶂，泉水多，溪流长，所以“决决溪泉到处闻”。山间溪流水位落差大，流速急，才有“决决”之声。如果溪水流出了山，泄入平地，也就变得缓慢而无声息，因而那“决决”之声，仿佛也在告诉行人山路未尽。
路未尽，仍须行。诗的二、三两句之间有一处省略，那就是行人在曲折难尽的山路上走了一程又一程。正在夜色苍茫，匆匆低头赶路之际，忽然听到几声犬吠，不觉停下了脚步，仔细倾听，可又别无动静，只听得山风阵阵，木叶萧萧。行人不觉顿悟，原来就是这“风动叶声”使得山犬惊吠，可见山林是多么的寂静，不过既有犬吠，也该有人或人家，于是他又迈开脚步，走着，走着，果然发现了“几家松火隔秋云”的景象。走了一整天，旅人早已疲倦不堪，亟盼住店，此刻，那闪耀的松火虽然还隔着秋山雾霭，要走近也并非容易，但毕竟是看见了希望之所，盼到了歇宿的“山店”。只有历尽山路的艰辛，才知道此刻的快乐。旅人的欣喜之情不言而喻。
这首诗没有用什么比兴手法，它主要描写山间行人的所见所闻，同时采取或虚或实的手法，将人物的行动贯串其间，通过人物行动和颇具特色的景物的结合，巧妙地刻画出人物心理和情绪的变化，富有艺术感染力。

卢纶（约737-约799），字允言，唐代诗人，大历十才子之一，汉族，河中蒲（今山西省永济县）人。天宝末举进士，遇乱不第；代宗朝又应举， 屡试不第。大历六年，宰相元载举荐，授阌乡尉；后由王缙荐为集贤学士，秘书省校书郎，升监察御史。出为陕府户曹、河南密县令。后元载、王缙获罪，遭到牵连。德宗朝复为昭应令，又任河中浑瑊元帅府判官，官至检校户部郎中。有《卢户部诗集》。
