译文
烟雾笼罩下的小船自在悠闲，雨水批湿的蓑衣又被风吹干，渔翁酒醒时江上天色已晚。听鸟鸣叫，流水潺潺，乐趣恰似严子陵隐居富春山。轻轻摇着船儿驶过江湾，寒波里垂下一够鱼饵。抬头贪看月亮，不留神放开了鱼竿。回过神来，看那小船已顺流而下，荡进了蓼花滩中。
注释
柳营曲：越调曲牌名。
烟艇闲：此句写烟水之中小船静静地停泊着。
关关：鸟和鸣声。
富春山：一名严陵山，汉严子陵曾隐居耕钓于此，上有子陵钓台。在今浙江桐庐县西。
兔魄：月亮。
蓼（liǎo）花：蓼是一种水边生长的植物，花如穗，有红有白。

柳营曲·江上鉴赏
这首散曲是借自然景物来表现理想主义的生活场景与思想感情的一则例证。曲中所写的渔翁，实际上是个科场失意的文人。失意后，他退隐江滨，但却不能割断蟾宫折桂的欲念，因而在强作闲适的同时，心灵上又挤压着沉重的苦闷。
首句勾画了一幅渔翁孤舟闲漂图。小船自在消闲，蓑衣雨湿风干，渔翁饮酒睡醒，表明看来确是一派悠然自得的气象。但仔细体味，渔翁冒雨自炊，饮酒就醉，醉则昏睡，醒则漂归，既无渔钓之意，又无赏景之心，这就不能不令人感到他胸中凝聚着难以解脱的苦衷，不然不会独自借酒浇愁、整天沉湎醉乡。
船上饮酒，醉醒已是傍晚，但闻啼鸟声与流水声交织在一起，清脆悦耳，其乐趣不减当年严子陵隐居富春山。“啼鸟关关，流水潺潺”、“数声柔橹江湾，一钩香饵波寒”，俱是清丽流美，宛然仙家境界。但此曲的渔翁仍未能不食人间烟火，“回头观兔魄，失意放鱼竿”，便显示了生活现实所给予的创伤。前时写“渔翁醉醒江上晚”，是力图表现他旷放自在的一面。如今看起来，他的“醉醒”，也不无愤世嫉俗的激烈意味了。
欧阳修有《渔家傲》词，下阕有句云：“醉倚绿阴眠一饷。惊起望，船头阁在沙滩上。”此曲的结尾，很可能是受到了欧词的启发。船儿不是一直那么听话的，只要主人意有旁骛，失了操纵，便只受水流摆布。“看，流下蓼花滩”，因为贪看水中的月亮，一不留神握渔竿的手松开了，只能眼睁睁望着渔竿从蓼花滩上漂下去。这表现了渔翁“失意”的深重程度。不过作者仍把小船留在蓼花滩一带，不曾送入红尘，那么渔父清醒过来，重新提起渔竿，“乐似富春山”，是不成问题的。或许“流下蓼花滩”的对象，也可释为“鱼竿”，如宋王庭珪《江亭即事》云：“江水磨铜镜面寒，钓鱼人在蓼花湾。回头贪看明月上，不觉竹竿流下滩。”但观此曲，解作小船“流下”更胜。
这首曲中的“渔翁”是文人化了的。在元曲中，“隐逸”与“叹世”是一枚硬币的两面，此曲作者不过想把这两面都写到而已。清李调元就很明白这一点。他把自“数声柔橹江湾”至“流下蓼花滩”六句，统统视为“他人不能道也”的俊语。（见《雨村曲话》）
此曲解开一般闲适小令一味沉醉山水之乐的纱幕，真实地表现出科场失意文人在不得不隐逸山水时内心所压抑着的痛楚，坦诚深切，读来确有令人耳目一新之感。

[元]（约公元一三一七年前后在世）名、里、生卒年及生平均不详，约元仁宗延佑中前后在世。工曲，太平乐府中选录甚多。明·朱权《太和正音谱》将其列于“词林英杰”一百五十人之中。明·李开先评元人散曲，首推张可久、乔吉，次则举及查德卿（见《闲居集》卷五《碎乡小稿序》），可见其曲名较高。其散曲作品内容有吊古、抒怀、咏美人伤离情之类，风格典雅。
