译文
不解风情的东风吹来，轻拂着她的裙衩。在寂寞的夜里，背靠着丝纱的灯罩，映照出纤细身影。
沉香燃尽，烟气也已消散，露珠滴落在成对的鸳鸯瓦上。夜里天气变得寒冷，但立于樱桃树下面花蕾的香气却愈加宜人。
注释
东风：即春风。
湘裙：湖绿色的裙子。
衩：为衣裙下边的开口。
纱笼：一种以纱制成的罩子，用以罩在熏炉外面。
爇(ruò)：燃烧。
水沉：即水沉香、沉香。
鸳鸯（yuān yāng）瓦：成双成对的瓦，两两相扣，如同相依的鸳鸯。
花骨：花枝。

生查子·东风不解愁创作背景
二十岁的纳兰性德娶两广总督、兵部尚书卢兴祖之女卢氏为妻。少年夫妻无限恩爱，可惜好景不长，美好的生活只过了短短三年，爱妻便香消玉殒了。这首词作于妻子卢氏死后，叙述了词人凄清孤苦的鳏居生活。

生查子·东风不解愁鉴赏
这首词的主题为咏愁之曲，词人上片画人，下片写景，无一愁叹之词，却处处渗透着情愁的气息，字里行间让读者感同身受。
词的上片，词人勾勒出一位浅浅女子的哀婉伤春形象。在这里，词人没有直接描绘女子的容貌，而是以清朝贵族女子的平素所穿的湘裙和其纤纤腰身人手，从侧面展现出女子的姿态容貌，说明此女的俊秀与温柔。下句“独夜背纱笼，影著纤腰画”则交代了时间是晚上，春夜里女子一人在室，细看女子姿态，背靠着丝纱的灯罩，灯光勾勒出女子的纤腰，孤独一影，动静映衬，此画面静谧优美俨然一副思妇相。让人想入画探视，猜想女子为何人而愁，在这孤独的夜里一个人难诉愁情。上片几笔文字落在女子身上之物，而非景物描写，在于刻画女子形象，给读者以朦胧之女子容颜，清晰之愁情丝绪。此谓画人。
下片文笔重在写景，描写女子身边环境。景入眼眸的是沉香燃尽的一瞬，香烟袅袅升腾，然后弥散在空气中，犹如女子的愁丝飘散，烟已断，情不断。此处说明夜已深，女子还在孤独徘徊。鸳鸯瓦自成双。而女子却是形单影只。此处以双反衬单、以喜衬悲的效果油然而生。已是愁情极致，却还有“花骨冷宜香，小立樱桃下”的冷美景象。下片皆是景物描写，但是词人以花骨比喻女子，立于樱桃花下，静谧而清俗，因愁情而美丽动人。以景喻人，此谓写景。
整首诗在画面上，冷静优美，刻画人物形象上没有冗长的词句，寥寥数笔勾画出内涵丰富女子，笔法细腻。在环境的衬托与渲染上更是给形象增添了愁绪的内涵，让读者通过环境这一介质直通女子的心里。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
