白久在庐、霍，元公近游嵩山，故交深情，出处无间，嵒信频及，许为主人，欣然适会本意。当冀长往不返，欲便举家就之，兼书共游，因有此赠。
家本紫云山，道风未沦落。
沉怀丹丘志，冲赏归寂寞。
朅来游闽荒，扪涉穷禹凿。
夤缘泛潮海，偃蹇陟庐霍。
凭雷蹑天窗，弄景憩霞阁。
且欣登眺美，颇惬隐沦诺。
三山旷幽期，四岳聊所托。
故人契嵩颍，高义炳丹雘。
灭迹遗纷嚣，终言本峰壑。
自矜林湍好，不羡朝市乐。
偶与真意并，顿觉世情薄。
尔能折芳桂，吾亦采兰若。

译文
我原本住在四川紫云山，家父与我都一直喜欢道家精神。
常常想归隐山林，喜欢空灵沉寂的环境。
离开故乡来到闽越一带寻找大禹等的仙迹。
攀登高山，泛舟沧海，又来到庐山霍山修炼。
借助雷声打开人的天耳，远听千里之外；居高阁玩赏霞光云影。
很喜欢登高一览美景，也喜爱这种隐居生活。
在三山四岳中度过美好的时光。
老朋友元丹丘素来住在嵩山与颍水，高尚的道行连皇家都知道。
不与尘世来往，断绝俗风骚扰，自言山林中人。
珍惜山林美趣，不羡慕俗世的欢乐。
突然与真意相偶合，发现天机，便感觉世间的一切都索然无味。
你喜欢采撷桂枝的高洁，我也喜欢收纳兰草之清馨。
我的爱人喜欢求仙，我女儿也好道。
我们志同道合，相互帮助，一起修炼，一起升天。
注释
⑴庐山：在今江西九江、南康二府界内。霍山，在今江南庐州界内。嵩山，在今河南登封、洛阳、巩、密四县界内。
⑵紫云山：在绵州彰明县西南四十里，峰峦环秀，古木樛翠，地里书谓常有紫云结其上，故名。其北为天仓，为龙洞；其东为风洞，为仙人青龙洞，为露香台；其西为蟆颐，为白云洞；其南为天台，为帝舜洞，为桃溪源，为天生桥。有道宫建其中，名崇仙观，观中有黄箓宝宫，世传为公元736年（唐开元二十四年）神人由他山徙置于此，宫之三十六柱皆檀木，铁绳隐迹在焉。此山地志不载，宋魏鹤山作记，载集中。太白生于绵州，所谓家本紫云山者，盖谓是山。
⑶《梁书》：“道风素论，坐镇雅俗。”
⑷《楚辞》：“仍羽入于丹丘兮，留不死之旧乡。”
⑸闽，今福建地，在唐时为建州、福州、泉州、漳州、汀州五郡之地。东瓯与闽地相连接，在唐时为温州、台州、处州三郡之地。秦时立闽中都，合东瓯在内。至汉始分东瓯，以立东海王。太白生平未尝入闽，而温、台、处三州则游历多见于诗歌，疑此诗所谓“闽荒”者，指东瓯之地而言也。
⑹《说苑》：禹凿龙门，辟伊阙，平治水土。
⑺左思《吴都赋》：“夤缘山岳之岊。”
⑻三山：谓海中三神山。
⑼《左传》：四岳三涂。杜预注：四岳，东岳岱，西岳华，南岳衡，北岳恒。盖古称四岳，不兼中岳在内，后世兼中岳而言，故称五岳也。
⑽《史记·扁鹊传》：“窃闻高义之日久矣。”
⑾《尚书·梓材》：“惟其涂丹雘。”孔颖达《正义》：雘，是采色之名，有青色者，有朱色者，“炳丹雘”即炳若丹青之义。
⑿颜延年诗：“芬馥歇兰若。”李周翰注：“兰若，香草，幽兰、杜若也。”
⒀金药：金丹，上药也。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
