译文
洛阳春浓花满城，姹紫嫣红香正浓。游丝有意，苦留游客丝萦绕。杨柳无情，争相送别为那般。
杏花红处，遮去青山一片青。山路远，行人山下歇驿站。相去远，今宵谁能与我伴，唯有寂寞、孤馆与明月。

芳菲节：花草飘香的季节，指春季。
相间（jiàn）发：先后连续不断地开花。
游丝：蜘蛛和青虫之类的昆虫所吐之丝，被风吹到空中，成为游丝。
垂柳句：古有折柳送别之俗，故云。
馆：驿馆。

玉楼春·洛阳正值芳菲节鉴赏
用“洛阳正值芳菲节”开头，一下子就把读者带进了离人所的满城春色的地方。但作者并不满足于此，他又用“秾艳清香相间发”来进一步渲染“芳菲节”，使洛阳的春色变得更为具体可感。“秾艳”一句不仅使人想见花木繁盛、姹紫嫣红的景象，而且还使人仿佛感受到了阵阵春风吹送过来的阵阵花香。接下去两句“游丝有意苦相萦，垂柳无端争赠别”既是写景，又已暗含眷恋送别者的感情。“游丝”是蜘蛛所吐的丝，春天飘荡空中，随处可见。庾信的《春赋》就曾用“一丛香草足碍人，数尺游丝即横路”来点染春景。游丝和垂柳原是无情之物，但惜别者眼中，它们却仿佛变得有情了。这里作者用拟人化的手法，说游丝苦苦地缠绕着人不让离去，又埋怨杨柳怎么没来由地争着把人送走，即景抒情，把笔锋转入抒写别离。
下片继续写旅途的春光和离愁，使人感到春色无边无际，愁思也无边无际，始终苦恼着离人。作者只写旅途一瞥，用富有特征的形象描绘产生以少胜多的艺术效果。
“杏花红处青山缺，山畔行人山下歇”是全词传神之笔。上句描写旅途中的春山：只见山口处有红杏傍路而开，而红艳艳的杏花林遮住了一大片青山。下句写那位离人的活动：他绕山而行，群山连绵，路途遥远，他还没有到达目的地，中途停宿有杏花开放的驿舍里。这儿人烟稀少，和繁华的洛阳形成鲜明的对照。他感到寂寞，他夜不成眠，望月思人，终于迸发出了“今宵谁肯远相随，惟有寂寥孤馆月”的叹息，使作品所要抒发的感情喷薄而出。词至此戛然而止。
上片写洛阳春季花柳盛开的洛阳这之春，并以柳丝萦牵喻难舍之情。离别的时候正值花草芳香的洛阳之春，浓艳的、清香的，相继开花争妍。接下来写忍离别之情。词人拈出两个象征依恋和离别的意向，“游丝”、“垂柳”，并赋予它们以人的情思，用一“苦”一“争”，写离别之人对洛阳及送行者依依不舍的深情。
下片设想离开洛阳所经之处的风景及旅途之状，进一步渲染离情。“杏花”二句为远望所见之景，放眼望去，离开洛阳要经过的青山缺口之处，红杏似火，一路行人或行或歇。词人也即将加入这行人的队伍，他不由得想象着离开满是好友和知交的洛阳后的寂寞旅程，那会是怎样一番情形呢？一路之上，又会有谁相随呢？陪伴自己的，恐怕只有寂寥孤馆的那一轮明月吧。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
