墙壁雪白正可作天空，用丹青绘出江海。
浮云不知归还，白鸥日日长在。
博平真人王志安，沉吟画前欲辞官。
秋色笼罩着松溪和石阶，拂晓的凉意使愁客想把家还。
注释
博平：唐河北道博平郡的博平县，在今山东省聊城市西北。王志安，生平不详。
粉图：画在粉壁上的画图。
粉壁：用白石灰粉刷的墙壁。
游云：指在外做官的人，一作浮云。
真人：道家称存养本性的得道的人。
挂冠：挂冠，即辞官。冠，帽子。
石磴（dèng）：石阶。

观博平王志安少府山水粉图创作背景
詹锳先生《李白诗文系年》云：此诗于开元二十五年（737）而作。

观博平王志安少府山水粉图鉴赏
“粉壁为空天，丹青状江海”这两句运用铺叙的手法，描绘出一幅粉壁为天、下有江海的绝妙景致，意境极为开阔，易使读者产生激昂振奋的感觉。侧面表现出诗人超脱的想像力，虽写观画感受，却使读者如身临其境，表达出诗人在咏物题画等方面有相当高超的技巧。
“游云不知归，日见白鸥在”描绘一幅浮云飘泊不定、在烟云深处寻找鸥鸟身影的景致，意境极为幽闲，表现了作者隐逸的思想、追求自由的精神和旷达的情怀。此两句有紧扣上文，烘托气氛，皆写画中景物：天空、江海、浮云、白鸥，为下文写王志安的归隐之思作铺垫。
“博平真人王志安，沈吟至此愿挂冠”通过写借用博平真人王志安欲“挂冠”的归隐心，表露出诗人的江海之志。既是明写，亦是喻己。
“松溪石磴带秋色，愁客思归坐晓寒”运用融情于景的手法，笼罩在“秋色”中的“松溪”、“石磴”无不带有诗人、画家的感情因素。结得自然，而又落脚于“秋”字，自然地点明了寄诗抒怀的时间，从而联想到自已的身世，漂泊不定如浮云一般。“愁客”、“思归”，字里间处处充溢着客居思归的酸楚之情，让诗句意境显得清寂或清峭，情绪上则带着比较重的孤独感。
云、风、雷、电，天、海、月、日、涛，是李白爱入诗的事物。凌、挥、飞、吼，奔、卷、横、啸是李白最爱入诗的动词。此诗借用“空天”、“江海”、“游云”、“日见”、“带”、“坐”等有巨大气势的事物和表现大起大落的动词，使得诗意具有飞扬跋扈、迅猛阔大、不可一世的气势，易使读者产生激昂振奋的感觉，同时描写了画上的美景，又表达了思乡的感情。在诗歌格式上，五言与七言融合一体，也体现了李白不拘一格、自由奔放的诗歌特色。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
