译文
并非是宋玉喜欢隐喻托讽常常有微辞，而是楚襄王沉迷艳梦醒来得实在太迟。
自从那惊世名作《高唐赋》写成传开之后，有关楚天云雨的诗章被认为全都可疑。
注释
关：涉及。宋玉：战国楚辞赋家，事楚襄王。微辞：以委婉含蓄的言辞托讽。
襄王：楚襄王。据说襄王与宋玉游于云梦泽，玉告以楚怀王曾游高唐，昼寝梦见巫山神女，襄王命宋玉作《高唐赋》。其夜王寝，果梦见与神女遇合，明日再命宋玉作《神女赋》。宋玉的《高唐》《神女》二赋，皆为托讽襄王荒淫之作。
楚天云雨：后以云雨指代男女合欢之事。此指表现男女爱情的作品。

有感创作背景
宋玉在生活经历、遭遇、思想情感等方面与李商隐有着许多相似之处。宋玉深得李商隐的推崇和喜爱。李商隐的遭遇和他诗歌独有的特点决定了他的诗歌常常被误解。这首诗就是借助对宋玉的同情，来澄清自己诗歌的创作意图。

有感鉴赏
诗的前两句是说，并非宋玉特别喜爱隐舍不露的言辞托讽，正是因为襄王沉迷艳梦，迟迟不醒，这就暗示自己确有微辞托讽之作，而且是事出有因，不得不然。后两句是说，自从《高唐赋》问世以后，凡是描写男女情爱的作品便都值得怀疑为别有托讽了。这就暗示说，诗人自己另一部分写男女情爱的诗作并不一定另有寄托，但人们因为受了微辞托讽的《高唐赋》式作品的影响，便都怀疑它们有所寄托了。李商隐用“尽堪疑”的词语，是想表明这种“疑”事出有因，同时又是想表明这种笼统的疑并不符合实际。
李商隐与宋玉，都属于多情才子、沦落文人一类。由于遭际相似，李商隐的偏爱宋玉，更多表现为自叹与自伤。李商隐在当时境遇之中，常常是“无悰托诗遣，吟罢更无悰”（《乐游原》）。深曲浓重的愁思，沉缅绵邈的情感，产生了“楚天云雨俱有托”的艺术表达和追求。诗人的拳拳之心应当得到后人的理解。然而诗人非但没有得到时人的理解，更被置之于无端的猜测和粗暴的责难之中。后二句“一自《高唐》赋成后，楚天云雨尽堪疑。”既是辩说其诗并非篇篇寄寓世事，也是讥诮世人无知，徒然疑忌，其中更有“才命两相妨”、“多情岂自由”的伤感。

李商隐，字义山，号玉溪（谿）生、樊南生，唐代著名诗人，祖籍河内（今河南省焦作市）沁阳，出生于郑州荥阳。他擅长诗歌写作，骈文文学价值也很高，是晚唐最出色的诗人之一，和杜牧合称“小李杜”，与温庭筠合称为“温李”，因诗文与同时期的段成式、温庭筠风格相近，且三人都在家族里排行第十六，故并称为“三十六体”。其诗构思新奇，风格秾丽，尤其是一些爱情诗和无题诗写得缠绵悱恻，优美动人，广为传诵。但部分诗歌过于隐晦迷离，难于索解，至有“诗家总爱西昆好，独恨无人作郑笺”之说。因处于牛李党争的夹缝之中，一生很不得志。死后葬于家乡沁阳（今河南焦作市沁阳与博爱县交界之处）。作品收录为《李义山诗集》。
