日出日落，何时才终穷？时光岁月不与人的寿命齐同。
所以春天并非我想要的春，夏天并非我想象中的夏，
秋天并非我期盼的秋，冬天也并非我中意的冬。
时间像辽阔的四海，人的寿命好比一个小池，遍观物象后才知道生命的无奈。
我了解怎样才能快乐，只有独自驾驭六龙上天。
六龙的协调步伐，使我的心胸顿时爽畅。
唉，乘黄，怎么还不下降把我带上仙界。
注释
安穷：何有穷尽。安，何。穷，尽。
时世：犹时代。《荀子·尧问》：“时世不同。”一说指自然界之时序变化，与社会人事变化相对。
泊如：犹“泊然”，飘泊而无所附着的样子。四海之池，即谓四海。《史记·日者列传》：“地不足东南，以四海为池。”
是：此。邪：语助词。谓何：还说什么呢。
知：一说疑作“私”。
六龙：古代传说日车以六龙（龙马）为驾，巡行天下。日出日入，即为日神驾六龙巡天，以成昼夜。
调：发。一说协调之意，指龙马步伐配合协调。
若：顺，此有愉悦之意。一说疑为“苦”字之讹，“以‘苦’与末句‘下’（古音虎）相叶，‘若’字则不叶”（郑文《汉诗选笺》）。
訾（zī）：嗟叹之词。
黄：指乘黄，传说中龙翼马身之神马名。《汉书》应劭注：“乘黄，龙翼马身，黄帝乘之而上仙者。”按：此即前所谓“六龙”。徕（lái）：同‘来’。一说“訾黄”当连读，同紫黄，即乘黄。

日出入创作背景
《日出入》是《郊祀歌》中的一章，祭的是日神。《日出入》一诗，当为“散歌”，是太始三年（前94年）二月，武帝晚年东巡齐地、礼日成山时所作。而冯沅君以为此诗是汉武帝元鼎五年（前112年）时的作品。

日出入鉴赏
《日出入》是祭祀日神的诗。以接近口语的朴实文辞，表现人们的悠邈之思；而且思致奇崛，异想天开，诗中由太阳每天早上升起，晚上落山，感到时间的迅速流失和人生的飞速流逝。由此汉武帝就产生了要求成仙，乘龙上天的思想。
先秦时代，屈原在《九歌·东君》中所歌咏的，正是这位驭龙乘雷、衣袂飘飘，勇射“天狼”而斗酌桂浆的豪侠日神。其辞采之缤纷、想象之神奇，足以令后世文豪搁笔兴叹。司马相如等辈虽学富五车、赋称“凌云”，大约也自知对日神的描摹，再不能与屈原媲美。故此歌入笔即别开蹊径，对日神不作丝毫描绘，径述人们祭祀日神时的悠邈情思：“日出入安穷？时世不与人同！”前句从日之运行，凭虚而起，突然发问，问得空阔而邈远；后句则又一折，于日运无穷而人世有尽的慨叹中，抒写人们的惆怅之情，意蕴极为深长。接着“故春非我春”四句，思致奇崛，极富哲理意味。春夏秋冬的更替，从来与人间的作息稼穑密切相关，它们似乎都是为人间的生存需求而存在的。现在，人们突然发觉：人之一生，不过是电光石火般的一瞬而已；天地四时，则横绝万古而长存。这种“非我”境界的发现，固然令人难堪，却是人的破天荒觉醒。这堪称奇崛之语，蕴含着参透宇宙消息的旷达之思。
“泊如四海之池”二句，则承上而下，进一步抒写人寿短促之感。前句将慨叹之情寓于形象的比喻，便使年寿短促之形，愈加逼真地显现于眼前；后句故作两可之问，又使潜台的答词，愈加确信无疑。如此说来，人们注定要在戚戚悲愁中了结一生了。而接着一反此意：“吾知所乐，独乐六龙。六龙之调，使我心若。”那驾驭六龙的日神，正是与天地同生而年寿无穷的。当人们虔诚祭祀日神之际，谁都怀着美好的希冀：倘若有幸得到日神的福佑，能够像他一样调御六龙以巡天，该有何等欢乐！这想法很离奇，可当年汉武帝就有过这种狂想。汉人应劭说：“武帝愿乘六龙，仙而升天，曰：‘吾所乐，独乘六龙。然御六龙得其调，使我心若。”闻一多以为，细审应劭之意，诗中之“若”当作“苦”（《乐府诗笺》）。那么，这四句表现的，就是一种乐中带苦、去留难舍的情思了。但总的来看，自以快乐为主。这四句一变前两句的长句句式，以轻快的四言句式，辅以回环相联的“辘轳格”（“独乐六龙。六龙之调”），抒写对“仙”去为神的向往之情，顿使诗中蓄积的烦愁之结为之一扫。然而，当人们翘首云天，盼望那曾带着黄帝仙去的“乘黄”降临的时候，“龙翼马身”的乘黄，却总是渺无踪影、不见下来。此歌结句“訾，黄（乘黄）其何不徕下”，正绝妙地抒写了人们盼而不遇的一片失望之情。还不止是失望，那“訾”的一声嗟叹，形象地显示出人们怨其“不徕下”的懊恼詈责之音。
前人评价《汉郊祀歌》“锻字刻酷，炼字神奇”（陈绎曾《诗谱》），似乎是赞语。拆穿来说，不过是“古奥艰深”的换一种说法而已。《郊祀歌》出自炫艰耀奇的司马相如等辈之手，文字极为艰奥。当年司马迁就有“通一经之士不能独知其辞，皆集会五经家，相与共讲习读之，乃能通知其意”之叹（《史记·乐书》）。相比而言，《日出入》一首，却能脱尽诘屈之习，以接近口语的朴实文辞，表现人们的悠邈之思；而且思致奇崛（如“春非我春”数句），异想天开（如“独乐六龙”数句），诗情往复盘旋。将人寿有尽之慨，寓于宇宙无穷的深沉思考之中，使这首抒情诗，带有了耐人咀嚼的哲理意味。
