西风吹鹤到人间。凉月满缑山。银河万里秋浪，重载客槎还。
河汉女，巧云鬟。夜阑干。钗头新约，针眼娇颦，楼上秋寒。
诉衷情·七夕鉴赏
“西风”两句，化用《列仙传》中的神话故事。“缑山”，一名“覆釜堆”，亦作抚父堆，山在河南偃师县南。据《列仙传》说：“周灵王太子晋在缑山乘白鹤升仙。”梦窗触景生情，借用神话传说开篇。此言其在幻觉中好像看到秋风送着仙鹤降临人世，月色辉映着升仙之地，仿佛自己也可以驾鹤飞升一般。“银河”两句，言七夕之夜晴空万里，天河显得格外明亮，团团星云组成了无边无涯的星浪，幻觉中，词人又觉得有迎客的仙船（贯月槎）正从天河中飘然而来。上片缀连起两则神话传说，使读者阅后也感染到一种飘飘仙气。
“河汉女”三句，应题“七夕”。天孙织女，巧手梳妆，云髻高耸。她在夜空中斜依在天河边。“阑干”，这里有横斜之意，与唐刘方平《月夜》诗：“更深月色半人家，北斗阑干南斗斜”中“阑干”意相同。“钗头”三句，地上“乞巧”。与天上王母划钗成河强使织女牛郎一年限见一次一样，人间少妇们七夕欢聚，其实也只有一年一度，所以她们珍惜这一有限时间，穿针乞巧，尽兴游玩，脸上漾溢着纯真的娇笑。不知不觉她们在绣楼上度过了一个凉爽而难忘的秋夜。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
