碧梧初出，桂花才吐，池上水花微谢。穿针人在合欢楼，正月露、玉盘高泻。
蛛忙鹊懒，耕慵织倦，空做古今佳话。人间刚道隔年期，指天上、方才隔夜。
鹊桥仙·碧梧初出鉴赏
词的上阙，起笔自然，虽然作者观察事物细致入微，但有几分凄凉：
偶尔轻坠而下的碧绿色梧桐叶，那吐着馥郁清香的桂花，还有水塘中微微凋谢的荷花。楼上的姑娘们，都正忙着在穿针引线，默默地乞求着织女能给自己以智慧和心灵手巧。远望高挂的明月，它那洒下的清辉，正如水一般清澈。
农历七月初七，是汉族传统的节日——七夕节，也称乞巧节。每逢这天的夜晚，相传是天上美丽善良的织女，要与勤劳勇敢的牛郎在鹊桥相会。
穿针人，指的既是天下女子，也包括了自己。据《西京杂记》记载：“汉彩女常以七月七日穿七孔针于开襟楼，人具习之。”这是千百年流传下来的习俗，七夕的夜里，大凡世间的女子都会以九孔针五色线向月穿之，过者为得巧。唐朝诗人祖咏有《七夕》诗曰：
闺女求天女，更阑意未阑。
玉庭开粉席，罗袖捧金盘。
向月穿针易，临风整线难。
不知谁得巧，明旦试相看。
词的下阙，句奇意新，那看似漫不经心的描写，却隐藏了一个普通女子最为缜密的心思：
姑娘们小盒子里关着的蜘蛛，都已经开始在忙着结网了，唯独不见银河里的喜鹊忙着搭桥。此时的牛郎不肯耕田，织女也没有心思纺织了。他们远隔银河，相互守望。看来，今晚他俩要辜负几千年来人们心中向往的这么一段美丽动人的爱情传说了。每逢此际，人间是要经过一年的时间等待。而天上的牛郎织女，人家也不过，仅仅只是才过了一夜的相思罢了。
她清醒地意识到，无论自己怎么貌美才高，每天的强颜欢笑，逢场作戏，她就似一枝任人攀枝的柳。再说女人美丽的青春和男人所喜好的姿色，迟早都会有那么一天，如荷花般凄然凋零。
她也暗自说：只羡鸳鸯不羡仙。
牛郎和织女的传说固然美好，可他们也有寂寞地守望在银河两端的时候。
强颜欢笑，逢场作戏，这分明不是自己想要的生活。她只不过，想收获一份属于自己的，既真实又简单的爱情。
人间爱，天上恋，谁比谁更长久，谁又比谁更浪漫？
